I agree, Id love to have got him here on loan but I think your spot on regarding the Dons overall plan. Besides, the problems with loans that are THAT effective is you have to try to replace them when they eventually leave. That can have pretty disasterous effects too, ask Steve Clarke. Though who the hell replaces Lukaku with anichebe and a late-30 year old unless he had some scientific masterplan to mould the two together

It would be a massive opportunity for him IMO, and so I dont get why so many people sre ruling it out as if its complete nonsense. I am more optimist then pesimist but even I would say its 'unlikely' but certainly could happen. MP is highly rated in the game, has worked wonders at Saints so far. Its not about staying for a season to 'see how it goes' its respecting the work he has put in so far and the way he has got us organised. We will be very lucky to keep him for the long term in my honest opinion as for me he really is very very good. Thinking logically I really dont think it will be him, as much as Levy might want to ruin another coaches credentials. If I was Poch Id be a little wary though, despite the kneejerk crap you hear about him being a poor manager I would say he was unlucky and not given the benefit of the doubt. Abramovich tasked him with getting tid of the old guard at chelsea, a task which eventually cost him the job and similarly he was thrown some big players in replacement for Bale which again ultimately didnt work In short Levy is a poison little dwarf

I see the match engine is a flakey as always. Makes paying £30 quid for a barely improved game pretty stupid really. As per last year I go on runs of say 10-12 games unbeaten to a similar run without a win. A little silly IMO

Falcao wont leave Monaco whilst he is earning what he is earning, the only guy Id see them going for is Ibra, but IMHO I think Jose knows his mistake, infact some in the game say he more or less openly admits it but wont recall him, whether thats a clause issue or personal pride. Lukaku will be a chelsea player next year. He is basically a young model of DD, Jose wont let him leave unless RL forces his decision which of course he wont. Also there isnt a hope he would join us unless we secure top 4 which we wont. If he isnt at chelsea, which he will be, he will play for another decent CL team.

The team isnt really firing as evidenced by their poor consistancy but in reality it is their poor defending and over reliance on a guy that just isnt scoring. I personally like AVB, he didnt deserve it at Chelsea and probably doesnt now either. For me who is going to come in and be able to do better ? And will the new guy be forced to play their expensive players ? Levy wont learn though, he never does.

Exactly but he will still ultimately hold Baldini and the manager in his puppet strings, you can attribute Spurs' successes and failures to Levy IMO due to his constant meddling. AVB will be Porto bound and will prove his worth again, he is a decent manager IMO. Spurs changed far too much too quickly this year. Was the massive spree Levy or AVB ? My money is on Levy. For me a crazy sacking, you dont build a decent team without giving managers time.

Exactly, he would be a good fit. Paired with Carroll who isnt as bad as people make out would be a pretty disruptive front line and one that would cause problems to most defences TBH That said we wouldnt let him go for under 5mil and personally Id stay firm at 10mil. Wint happen though
