Have to agree with Chezer. Problem was, in my mind Lowe made no attempt to ever improve our situation and we just slowly died.

Never been that fussed about Howard as a player TBH. He is ok, but IMHO much happier with the signing of Cork. If we had signed Howard would we have signed Cork ?

Looked very fit and strong yesterday, in fact, wow, one pre-season with Adkins and he has done so well, playing a game like we played yesterday, hassling and chasing the ball down really does drain you as a player, but we did it so well and kept it up for the whole game, rarely did you see a player struggling. Mentioned a few times how fit, strong and up for it we looked. But back to Hammond, I got it wrong, he had a great game yesterday. What a Midfield we have.

I just think that it doesn't help all of the hype that goes on here that is all. Outside of the forum the vast majority of STH's I know have no problem with Cortese, in fact the issue hardly comes up at all. Wales and Scotland have their own, why do we have to use the British one, one that if I am honest could be used by any country on earth due to the lack of any national identity.
