  1. And they could christen it with an SFC condom, what a wonderful thing
  2. There are plenty of pr*cks that wear our stuff already TBF
  3. What like gary coleman ?
  4. Brighton had a great season and we had a car crash of a start, how is that re-writing history ?? Man Utd had a poor season with a poor team and still won the prem. Things happen.
  5. I dont know, I am not saying I would drop him from the start, you simply have to play him, I mean, we played him through his lean streak at the start of last season and with respect I was saying at the time, give him a chance, let him get some confidence, because of how he performed in his first season. He picked it up towards the end but IMO he was a shadow of the Ricky we grew to love and the championship will only be more difficult. Unless he makes an instant impact like Holt then I wonder if he will taper off. Guly, he is quick and tricky, when on song is very very good, yes he goes missing, predominantly against sides that battle and hold back, thats not how the NPC works, more often teams play football and a cavalier approach is the way to play things, and this will only play to Guly's strengths. That is why I think he will do well, it is a hunch, a guess, but I think he will be ok. Connolly, is a great little player, but growing older. Now PM me this shirt n*bber.
  6. I heard it will be red and white and will have AAP and a saints badge on it ages ago TBF
  7. Guly is my suprise pick for the season TDD, I'm going to go out on a limb and say he is better made for the championship, if teams open up against him, I also think Lambert will struggle, but we shall see, like I said, my guesses are Guly will do well and Lambert will struggle, but as long as one is on song whether I am right or wrong I don't mind. I wonder if this is one season too far for DC, I thought he would have struggled last year but he made a great impact at the end of the season, Barnard IMO is a great little player, decent in front of goal and very busy, plus the added fact that Connolly could injure himself in his sleep.
  8. Davis Fonte Oxo Morgan Cork Lallana Guly Barnard ? Those are IMO decent level championship performers IMO Add to that some average championship players in Butters, Dickson, Chappers, Lambert, Connolly, maybe Richardson, Harding. And I think we are ok Jaidi is what he is, a monster, darren Moore done more of a decent job doing the same for Derby when they were promoted and he was arguably as slow. If we want to be really challenging then we need to look at full-backs and perhaps a striker, I agree we will probably need another defender by the end of the season at the very latest, (january may be pushing him too far) But we are certainly not in a bad position when you look at the way Millwall and Norwich got on with life. More importantly we have a decent team spirit and changing too much risks damaging that.
  9. I don't know why people have their knickers is such a twist, if you think about it the whole situation does make the FL's flimsy checks look exactly that, flimsy. Clubs owned by faceless people, often abroad so that they cannot be properly tracked etc. And our unique situation, in which our owner passed away and as such as we all think it moved directly to his estate do we actually know that for a fact ?? Am I Bovvered ??? No I believe we are now being bankrolled by a trust fund or the family Liebherr, the one thing that annoyed me was how he made it seem underhand. A nothing statement on a nothing story really.
  10. A number 10 is a player that is essentially a midfield advanced playmaker, trequartista or second (shadow) forward in the same role as Totti/del piero has played most of their careers. Chaplow is most certainly not that, he is a box to box central midfielder. Guly played their at Cesena and it appears to be essentially his best position. He also looks good out wide as he is played as an inside forward there, and as we play with two forward wingers in Lallana and Chambo then we need players behind them to shield them. Of course if we play 442 generally when we play Guly and Barnard etc and so are not supporting (carrying) lambert then you can afford a breaking midfielder in Chappers
  11. This I find it quite laughable how someone can call people dillusional when posting about the merits of an overweight and overthehill striker who has not scored in 2 seasons and has at best had 2 perhaps 3 seasons of any note.
  12. Yeah, all well and good except for the fact Ledger has recently moved.
  13. I think so as well, not necersarily Sordell or Treacy but I don't think it will be Maynard, if it was to be him it would have had to be sorted before the other clubs came sniffing around as that will only push up his price and wages. He would be a good signing and a great show of intent though. Whatever happens we need some pace to balance our other angles of attack. And I don't think we need a winger, but will need a CB at the latest by January IMO
  14. TBF I did think that when I posted it but I thought I would run with it It will be cracking if he scored even 4 or 5 this year. FWIW I sort of agree with your thinking but as for Hammond, Chaplow, Morgan or Cork scoring goals I would be surprised if they scored more than 5 or 6 between them. Those four with the possible exception of Chappers are there in order to provide a balance that we lack in the playing of Lallana and Chambo who primarily are there as wingers. Morgan has shown he can attack if needed but the more I watch the more I think he is restricted under orders, and TBF the way he creates play in the 1st and 2nd stages of an attack I am happy with that.
  15. I must have dreamt up the fact he clearly looked bigger last season than the one before and moved considerably less aswell. I forget how many times I amoungst others bemoaned the fact that when balls were played into good positions he was nowhere to be seen.
  16. Fonte and Davis need to score at least 4 or more goals this season, I fully expect Adkins to pop up with one also
  17. I forgot, you have to disable the process that runs as this little b*stard, I used a programme called Rkill that disabled it long enough for me to start a scan. However, if I was you I would follow this link, it should be a lot easier then the way I did it, in the explanation anyway. http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/virus-removal/remove-total-security
  18. There is a new Saints FC official Christmas stocking to be revealed.
  19. Get the PC in safe mode then run Malware Bytes and search and destroy That should get the little f*cker. And tell her to stop looking at the rude stuff.
  20. The fact that Kris Boyd went from top scorer to mediocrity in a Middlesborough shirt, along with Macdonald I wouldn't hold much hope. Besides, his best form came when Omerod did all of his work for him and we played counter attacking football and happened to chuck balls into the box at him. That is why he went and flopped at Everton. He had a great season for us, and I am thankfull for that, but (like the rickie situation) all this hero worship gets in the way of good solid thinking, if a player doesn't perform now, it doesn't matter what they did years ago, they aren't good enough.
  21. This Unfortunately seeing as you have now had the nerve to critisize our cult hero you will now be dumped on the 'hasn't got a clue' pile. I would love Ricky to emulate the form he had with us in his first season, I am willing to qive him a chance, I just can't see it.
  22. I didn't think he fitted in with the way we play last season, and got fed up watching him carry his carcass around generally not getting in good enough positions, so often when we made storming runs up the wings did we swing balls into an empty box or had to wait for lardy to catch up. IMO he might struggle this year, I would love it if he proves me wrong and smashes in over 30, but I struggle to see that happening. All IMHO anyways.
