Lol I remember. My mate was waxing lyrical at the start, I told him how much of a lazy b*stard he was and was proved right after a matter of weeks lol.

He has carried injuries but when playing is pretty consistant, Long however has only had one decent season. This year he has been a bit of an enigma, I promise you the talk of the Reading STH's is that they would love to cash in on this season but only if they can spend his fee on a more consistant striker. The seasons before, I think we can all agree he has been pretty much under the radar, and seeing him at St Marys and the couple of games I have watched when seeing my mate in Reading he has not impressed me TBH. That said, if he keeps the form of last year he will be good. Just saying don't dismiss Si's opinion as it is one shared by many people that watch him play regularly.

Legend, a bit overthetop but still legend. If he does what he says I'll be happy. Some people have to calm down a bit I think, I have always know that Hypo is a bit of a boring, pretentious t*sser but The9 has pretty much had a break down over the last few weeks. I wonder how people go through life, obviously with jobs that involve little responsibility I imagine. Except for Hypo, you'll get those library books in alphabetical order if it kills you.

Exactly this, I still go to every local gig he has. And every time I am dissapointed when he plays some sort of ladeedaa crap from his newest couple of albums, Heavy Soul is and will probably be in my top 5 albums forever. Its his rawness that is Weller, from the Jam and up through his solo stuff (I'll skip over the whole Style council era)

Must agree, I am a massive Weller fan, but all his new stuff has recently been dump, have you heard starlite yet ?? Also pretty crappy TBH. Its a shame, as the man clearly has so much to offer, but annoyingly he is trying to reinvent himself, the b*stard.

TBF I was thinking of joining Uglies, it does look a decent laugh over there, its been obvious for ages that del_turks was one and the same. That said, anywhere that has Hypomong posting on it really isn't worth joining, I would definately trade some banter with that Stu for that insipid, boring, gob****e, Hypo is a too geeky for the geeks.

He played over 90% of their season last year, and now he is happy to let him go. If he Warnock believed he could cut the mustard I am pretty sure he would keep him.

Which is basically what I said, Warnock is willing to sell a player who last year was one of the first names on the team sheet, for me, and with the fact that they have not really strengthened tells me they are not too impressed with what he can do at prem level. FWIW Puncheon is leaving not through ability but attitude and we already have better players than Mills who has never been a regular feature.

If Warnock thought the defender, who has been raved about as being their best CB and also played 90%+ of the games last year in their promotion season, yet he is willing to exchange him for another player then that would suggest that he is not thought of, by Warnock as one of his major cogs. It really isn't that hard a concept to grasp.

Whats your point ? As I certainly don't see us getting promoted this year ?? And FWIW if we went into the prem there are plenty of players we would need to replace.

And if they both asked to break our wage structure you would be happy ?? Just so that we got an extra couple of players in ?? Especially with Sharp costing IMHO an overpriced 3.5 mil ?? FWIW we are still only two player away from being a good Playoff team, and realistically it only takes Jaidi and our strikers to hit form and we are a decent playoff team. Calm down dear.
