My arena holds about 40k aswell, its worth it in the long run as you get some decent cash from it (about 200k + per home game) I am going to upgrade to 64k if i get promoted. Whatever your opinion on the guy (and he is a tw*t) you can't deny that Mitchell has built a siege mentality at the club, he knows that he has not got massive resources but i have to applaud his use of clubs legends to get the crowd and the players spirits up. IMO they are no where near the most gifted of squads but they are very close and each put in 200% for each other, this IMO is born from how Mitchell has talked them up and set them up. I have to applaud that, and as much as i said early on that they will fall away they havn't done so yet and will keep going unless injuries take their toll.

Its a real shame that the club as a whole can not just get on, nothing is ever easy at Saints is it ?? As much as my love for L Mac and MLT will be there always i feel that they have made a grave mistake airing all of this dirty laundry in public, it has tainted their legend IMO. There may well be problems with Cortese, he may well be a class A c*nt. But he has never acted this way towards them in public, nor resorted to repeated personal attacks in the public eye. The legends have, which is quite sad really. Is there any wonder that they have been made to feel unwelcome when they so easily resort to name calling and the spreading of rumour ?? As much as the legends are our history and should always be remembered for that, we have a future in Cortese now and one we nearly did not have a short few years ago.
