I'm not trying to upturn the apple cart baj (is that even a saying ?? I don't think so, oh well) It is just i have tried to stay within the limits of infractions and to stay away from generally being a ars*, i have my opinions, everyone does and i will explain mine but also see both sides. It just felt to me at the time that i got a very very easy infraction TBH and still do. I mean really ?? 3 infraction points for that is a bit harsh, i was hardly baiting as much as some do. I can understand if someone steps over the mark they get infracted, but some of the smaller infractions are tearing the humour out of this site IMO.
-
I'll let you know next time Micky So basically, an infraction depends almost entirely on whether or not you are argueing with or against the points made and are seen favourably by the moderating team ? For example certain posters are able to continually spam away and full on bad mouth people on the forum and then i post a thread asking whether we should write a petition to the club to get a certain situation sorted and i get accused of a wind up ?? Now, don't get me wrong, i am not at all calling for those certain posters to be infracted, i am not some sort of sissy and actually think a bit of banter is good for the forum, unfortunately it seems as if it is being removed altogether which IMO is to the detriment of the forum as a whole. But what i am saying, is a little consistency wouldn't go a miss.

So why does all the spamming etc keep going on and i get 3 infraction points for asking whether we should have a petition on the subject in question, rather than needlessly repeat it on every thread ??

The Official Summer Transfers and HCDAJFU Thread

Could do with a couple of strikers IMO Connelly has not signed yet, which pretty much leaves us with Lambert and Barnard, not bad but no cover. Do we even have any decent youth players -

If you have read about young Jonjo i would be very very interested, he looks a corker of a player, i just hope he doesn't rot like the rest of Benitez's purchases at LFC. Lee hendrie and Trundle, do they still have the legs and quality ? Didn't Hendrie drop to this division last year ? -
If thats what you wanna do i would have a look at SSE's emergency call centre, they occasionally get jobs coming up and i know that a lot of them get around 26-30k for just sitting on a phone and relaying info to engineers, well thats what they told me when i spent some time with them on one of my placements. Easy money really, in the scheme of things.
-
If you take the job and happen to cold call me, i apologise in advance when i swiftly tell you to get f*cked.
-
Doesn't really mean that you in essance would be able to run a multi million pound football company though does it ? However it does make you a tad more qualified than me in sales and marketing etc. F*ck that sh*t.
-
HOLY F*CK I would find it hard to stay in a relationship with a Skate TBF, especially if anyone found out. A few sly ones up the wrong un isn't an issue.

+75000000 This is pretty much how i see it TBF -
Where has SaintKip been ? Shame to see Wiltshire go, his posts are usually quite funny. I suppose his other incarnations are probably still here.

Its hardly unbearable is it ?? What job did you get offered anyways ?

I believe in a few years the governments will have no control over whether or not we 'know' They have been here, i am sure of that, which is why IMO the ancient civilizations were so advanced and many of their 'gods' are in fact descriptions of aliens All IMO of course.

Mass rush expected for season tickets tomorrow?
Smirking_Saint replied to Liquidshokk's topic in The Saints
Not publicising them yes, but discouraging ?? I don't think you can really say that, otherwise they would not have offered a decent renewal price. I guess we will see how many STH's we have soon. I agree, Stu makes some valid points, and NC's PR skills leave a lot to be desired, however i just don't see things being as bad as it is being portrayed and certainly do not buy into some of the conspiracy theories being thrown around. From what i can see it makes decent financial sense. -

True, The problem is everyone does the exact same thing. What if this is a success and you start to see more clubs doing the same ? And Stu we will all look forward to your apologies if we are proved right ! -
Blatter's Sorry - Get Ready For Goal line Technology
Smirking_Saint replied to Gemmel's topic in General Sports
This is my point, no need to stop the game then simples. As for St Landrew and Pancakes point, i just don't think St Landrew gets it. What if it didn't cross the line ? Then Man Utd would have been stopped in their tracks attempting to counter attack for no reason whatsoever and will create more issues. Where as, as soon as the ball crosses the line a little alarm goes off for the ref, easy. As for the diving etc, just have after game video replays and card the cheaters that have been found out. Or alternatively when the ref has blown for the foul and wants to decide if it is a red THEN the 4th official can check the video replay and aid the referee. But all that is here nor there, the OP is should we have GOAL LINE TECHNOLOGY and a simple chip that alerts when it crosses the line will sort it instantly. -
See that is the strange thing, if you asked me as a supporter who would i prefer to have the most amount of success i would in almost all cases say Saints, probably because they are the team i support they define me most. However if i was a PLAYER and a good player i mean, than i would always covet playing for my country and playing in a world cup. That said there are three teams i would give my all to wear the shirt for, Saints, England and Real Madrid. Madrid is a weird one, as they never really live up to the hype but IMO they buy the best, and so in that respect i would want to wear the white as a testiment to my ability, if you get my drift. But alas, two snapped ACL's later i'll struggle getting into some reserve side somewhere, suppose i could always go downhill and play for hedge end

Fair point well made

+1 TBF thats the only criticism i have of this place as all in all it is run very very well, but in some cases the moderation is pretty heavy handed. The majority like a bit of banter but some can't take any so where do you draw the line ?? Plus i got some points the other day for what was IMO nothing at all and a legitimate post. Some of the stuff from wiltshire is clearly a wind up but most thick skinned people can take it with a pinch of salt, most of the time it can be pretty funny. TBF this time he has summed things up quite well, i do feel sorry for JonnyBoy in a way but he has had 3 chances and can't even really see the error in his ways.

Mass rush expected for season tickets tomorrow?
Smirking_Saint replied to Liquidshokk's topic in The Saints
I agree that we need to have around the 2/3rds mark, and agree we need a healthy number of season tickets, or at least 2/3rds our maximum attendance which is around 12k. The truth will be in the pudding whether or not we recieve a healthy number of STH's without the outlay of an advertising campaign. As if their is an increase in attendance and STH's it would have been a success however you look at it. -

Smirking_Saint replied to Liquidshokk's topic in The Saints
I do agree with that, and no the increased prices etc will never help, and it is a shame to lose people that have ST's as all in all these are the people that will essentially spend more money (not just on the original product) over the course of their supporting lifetime. I did have a ST but changed my job and so couldn't afford one for the last few years, and in all honesty i am sort of in that camp, thinking do i really need to spend £1k a year on football ? But i will go back to it. It was a mistake removing the payment plan etc, but i IMO believe it was not as damaging as some would like us to think. Unless NC turns out to be like Lowe, and in that respect i mean in not making the football club competetive as THAT is the main reason for an increase in STH's and fans, competetive, attractive and winning football, then the fan base will not shrink but will infact grow. -

And there we have it, the whole reason why you get so much vitriol towards you on this site and you had to change your name, mainly because you can only argue your point for so long and then resort to name calling and generally being a sarccy C*nt. Well done, you are always right, you are always great. I really cannot be ars*d to argue with someone that is no more than a trolling WUM with an inferiority complex fighting to change the minds of the masses like some evangelist shouting an opinion down peoples throats again and again and again. You ask for reasoned debate and then completely ignore other peoples views and just change to insulting them, what next the dreaded 'lets meet for a drink then?' as if it is some sort of point proving exercise ? My opinions will only change for myself and currently they are what i say on here, i am not trying to wind anyone up, just don't buy into the conspiracy that is NC wants an empty stadium. And no, 92 clubs do not believe that an entire stadium of STH's is the right idea Stu, the majority of them have that and never will.
