  1. He plays on the left He plays on the riiiiiiight That boy Lallana, makes league 1 look sh*te
  2. I don't mind City, anyone who breaks up the top 3's dominance at the top is pretty welcom IMO. Plus they have always had decent support.
  3. I refer back to the thread above in relation to Stu's post. I just don't think technically he will progress that much IMO. Though, if we sign him and i would love to if the price is right, than i would love to be proven wrong.
  4. WTFsmirky08 I have loads of people added on there but can't remember who anyone is lol
  5. More or less of a cheat than Malinga the Flinga ???
  6. Pardew has said before he is looking for a replacement for Rickie in case he gets injured, in that respect i believe that we are 'looking for a replacement for rickie, in case he gets injured' As far as Austin and Mclean are concerend i would f*cking love it if they signed for us, and may do ?? You never know, but i doubt it, i think we will see a big bruiser we can play off of as without Rickie our tactics are somewhat nullified.
  7. Nah, he is easily our best player, we never really played particularly well in the JPT, we were just not threatened by carlisle in the slightest. When Schniederlin plays sh*te we play sh*te. Plus i have seen Lambert dominated out of games on more than one occasion.
  8. Sh*t the f*cking bed we are in the brown stuff................. thank god we have wotton
  9. Anyone heard any more about Harlee Dean ?? I heard he was a decent young prospect and he has turned down a contract at the daggers, I looked on the daggers forum and they seem to think he is a decent prospect, only 18 to.

  11. Greatest hope for this season?- Champions and JPT Biggest fear?- Not being Promoted Most important player?- Schniederlin Terrace favourite?- Lambert Keep an eye out for...- Harlee Dean (if we sign him) Player you'd happily drive to his next club?- Wotton One change you'd make at your club? Kronenbourg on tap Have we got the right manager?- Probably, now he needs to prove it. What advice would you give him?- 451 works pretty well, don't ask for loads of cash and fail to make playoffs ? Which team do you most want to beat this season?- Sheffield Wednesday Opposition player you despise?- No idea Opposition player you secretly admire?- No one Where will we finish?- Top 2
  12. Sigh Yes i did, and he will. I also said, in reference to your point, he will not play at a higher level than puncheons CCC. Puncheon is streets ahead of Antonio as far as technical ability is concered. And IMO technique, control etc needs to be trained and bedded in at a young age, at least have a decent first touch etc by 16. Antonio doesn't, he will improve, but he will never have a great first touch, will never have a perfect delivery. As for managers having to make a choice between Puncheon and Antonio than i know it wouldn't be a player that lacks a technical presence. As for fans, yes i am sure a few would choose Antonio over Punch but that goes back to the fact that not all fans have a particularly good understanding of football. Would i take Antonio back, sure i would, but not for anything over 300k. There is better, more advanced players for their age.
  13. Pards isn't looking for someone to take the goalscoring reigns off of Lambert IMO, just someone that will fill in his position of leading the line. That said, i would love another big boy in there applying pressure, but as what has been said previously many times, Lambert style players (creative, big, strong and goalscoring) are hard to come by and won't sit behind Lambert happily.
  14. Err you did say that he could play at a higher level than the championship if he keeps progressing, which is what i was disputing.
  15. Higher than CCC ?? You really have to be having a bit of a laugh, the boy is just not that great technically, great pace, good power but not always that much end product. I would say he would struggle in the CCC currently. To say he looks as if he could be prem quality is somewhat laughable.
  16. Nor have i really, i have read on here he isn't all that but then i read reports that he is pretty good so i don't know, i have seen highlights of him and he looks good, takes his goals well and combines with some screamers. Plus he is a 6 foot + lump.
  17. If he regains his form it will be
  18. What about Pittman ?? I know he isn't that great but he has the Lambert mould and a cheapish fee and some SFC nurturing he could be good ??
  19. He is good at this level, especially when coming on late on, no defender likes playing against strength AND pace, so you can sort of let him off the 1 in 4 crosses on target as when he is playing well he gets in the positions more often. I think he had potential, he did need a lot of work on the technical side of this though, CCC may be a bit tough for him in that respect. He was probably better than you thought nipper, but no where near the hero worship a few have for him, signing him for anything under 300k would be good, anything more a rip off. But i hated him until the last quarter of the season.
  20. Nail on head
  21. Because our whole game revolves around him, very rarely do we actually spread the ball around and play the pretty football that our players would probably be able to achieve. When he doesn't play or he gets dominated by opposition defenders we look very average. I love winning, but sometimes hate watching the hoof ball we play at times, but then, Lambert the battering ram does the job so hey ho.
  22. No he wasn't, i didn't like him at first, then began to like him, he has pace, he has strength but he was pretty dire technically, anyone could see that. He had a good finish on him though !!
  23. The only thing that is rediculous is the rediculous blog by RedArmyComrade, we all know where Bournmouth are in the scheme of things and so do most of their fans, it is just cringeworthy that he has rammed it down their throats, no wonder we get the label of arrogance. End of the day, Howe has done a very respectable job at a club with limited budgets and a transfer embargo so yes, he is a good up and coming manager. Pardew hasn't really done all that much, and is hardly the world class manager that RAC believes he is. As for the reply from the bournemouth fan, he is right, we are at this level, they are at this level so we can hardly write them off, are we rivals ?? No not in my eyes, but then as was said they are a lot closer than Portsmouth are.
