Cotterill is off i would expect and their team is being broken up due to financial constraints, i just can't see them being much, perhaps they will have a decent start but i would expect them to fall off towards the end.

Why do people keep banging on about strikers ?? We have Lambert, Barnard and probably connelly. We could probably do with a striker that will cover Rickie but IMHO it would be a partnership of Rickie and Lee or back to the 4-5-1 formation that worked so well for us last year. I just can't see us paying out for another proven striker (if you get my drift). Money will be spent on a winger, CM and a new RB. Anything else would be fantastic though.

At this level i would take him, although, a renewed bid for Antonio is more likely IMO. When in form he is prolific, that has been about 2 seasons of a career. He won't sit on the bench behind Lambert, end of.

Not really, rules are rules, we went into admin, so we should have been docked 10 points, it's fair enough, and it should happen to any team that goes down that route. Saw them 3 times last season (one on the telebox) and in all honesty they were probably the worst team i saw. They just seemed to roll over and die. Terrible, terrible team and god only knows how they finished where they did this year.

I think we need to give pancake his position as admin back. Think he is headed for a meltdown, he was so moderate, understanding and unassuming before his public dressing down.

But his man marking was so effective, i watched him and admired at times his ability to win so many balls with his lack of height. He did get caught out occasionally, as he obviously would, however he did so well at times and at his age. He probably has a lot to give in a coaching role, IMO. My reading supporting mate reckons he isn't that good, TBH i have not really seen much of him to form a consistent opinion. He also said that Harper is carp, and thats why he was released to Sheff Utd, i suppose this is backed up by them releasing him when they had the year extension built into his contract if they wanted him ?? So i don't know about these two. I mentioned Hooper ages ago, but a striker is not what we need right now.
