Romeu is everything that is wrong in our play. The sooner he stops playing in the team, the better. We can't build quickly when he is on the pitch. So many times during our game we needed some quick forward passing in the midfield to find our attackers or wingers in pockets of space and we didn t. You can t break down teams by passing it sideways. Ralph made a mention pre match that there were some positions where we didn't have options or back up. That s exactly why he needed to play Ward Prowse in midfield as we are cruelly lacking in options. Romeu isn t even a great alternative in there. Wouldn't be suprised if we recruit only a midfielder as our 1st signing in January.

Think Romeu slows the game completely. I lost count of the amount of passes he could have played forward and ended up passing it sideways. On a side note good goal from Vokins abeilt deflected!!!

Thing is without VAR, Huddersfield would have been aggrieved if it had stood. On the other hand saints fans would have said looks very slightly offside but who cares we scored. I don t mind VAR as it corrects the majority of wrong decisions or helps to take the right one. In this case it was offside, so its fair. Most people complaining are those who were used to get wrong decisions go for them especially big club supporters. Yes some cases are awfully close but that s what it is there for and for me that s fair. Now if they want to change the rule ans say clear and obvious then so be it. But without VAR we would still be complaining about how **** referees in england are and how many decisions we have had against us.

Long is on very high wages not getting a fee for him is not a disaster especially at his age. With Cedric and Yoshida out of contract, i wouldn t renew them either (Cedric has already gone on record that he is leaving) That along the possible sale of Forster and Elyounoussi, I think we can safely say we will be able to freschen up the squad in the summer and get players adapted to Ralph s style of play. As i said in an earlier thread, Summer of 2020 is really the summer where we will be able to remodel our squad

There s anti JWP clan, an anti Cedric clan, an anti PEH clan, an anti Jack Stephens clan, an anti Boufal clan, an anti Ralph clan. Not sure if the same people are part of all these clans but i know that all have contributed this year and don t deserve the abuse they get on here or in the stadium. Why are you speaking of an experienced left back and then mentionning Maehle just after. Yes he has already played left back but he is a right back by nature. It s like if you are mentionning Cedric is an experienced left back who can compete with Bertrand as he has played a few times on the left.

Its laughable how you all think that now that Saints are doing well it must be because Ralph is listening to his new assistant. Looooooooool fuc king get a grip. Nothing, the guy is a troller. Boufal has actually been one of the few bright spots this season. He s been effective in most games he s played, yesterday a little less but that doesn t make him a flop. He s the most skillful player in our team along with Moussa and should always be in the 18

Several seasons, just like Ralph needs to be judge over that length of time. You don t judge a player over 15 games ffs

Would play Ings, Boufal, Redmond and obafemi for this one. Would be tempted to play Romeu for either Ward Prowse or Hojbjerg depending on how they are feeling.
