I ve said it time and time again. The highest priory is a central midfielder. Yes center back can be improved on but the main reason why our team is conceding so many goals is because there is a huge gap in center midfield. Not even a competent center back can stop that.

Premier League football in 2016 is very different to 2019. Game is much quicker and more intense. Players that were good in 2016 are not necessarily at the same standard in 2019 as game has evolved since then.

There are plenty of clubs who will want to sign him. For instance clubs who don’t play a high line and want tall defenders to clear balls out. We play a high line hence need pacy players throughout the team who can track back if we are press is beaten.

Its not just a center back we need. We need a dynamic midfielder who could break the opposition lines with his passing. I would even prioritize this in front of a center back. We need to link the midfield and the attack but we are not doing it today as our midfielder just pass it back half the time or give the ball away. This is our most urgent pressing problem. Normally Hojbjerg should be doing this but his passing is utterly crap

Who do you want instead? Another makeshift out of position player? Comments on here I swear pffff. On the plus side Anderson out for West Ham is a huge boost for us. Gotta watch out for Haller.
