  1. VAR is not the problem and has never been. It is the incompetent referees we have in this league. VAR is just exposing more and more the fact that they are crap. Before you could always say the referee wasn t well positioned enough to see the action now they know longer have this excuse.
  2. Reaction of posters on here is baffling
  3. In the transfer pot for this summer. End of.
  4. Hope Vestergaard leaves and we get a fee, getting him off the wage bill will further give us the needed flexibility to renew our team this summer.
  5. You make a lot of assumptions in your post if this happens then this bla bla bla.
  6. Isn’t that what we want? So that We free up the wage bill and Ralph can build his own team adapted to his style of play. So people are either on a constant wind up or they are generally insatisfied in life.
  7. There have been numerous games where Ralph could have tried him out there but he hasn’t We should be signing players to improve the squad not signing average ones that may or might no improve. I would be inclined to sign him if he had shown potential but I haven’t seen any. Normally you judge a player over a lengthy period of time but he is on loan so just find an upgraded version.
  8. You only have to speak face to face with Austin for 15 seconds just to see what a tosser he is. Not at all surprised at that
  9. Based on first half Danso is not a right back. Would rather have Stephens there and Danso in the center. At least you get to judge him in his natural position. Or maybe Ralph doesn t trust him there in which case you might as well send him back.

    Viafara!

El estupido if you spoke spanish correctly
  11. You what? I don’t ever recall criticizing Sadio Mane. On the contrary always thought he was a class player even when he started off here you could see he had so much potential.
  12. You obviously didn t read properly my first post. Its a good move provided we replace him with someone else adapted to Ralph style of play as Romeu doesn t fit with our high tempo pressing game as he isn t mobile enough. Is that too hard to understand?
  13. No actually i didn t miss it. Remind of our results in the opening 12 games? I didn t see much shielding of the back 5. One of the reasons we have improved recently is our ability to control the midfield. Having Romeu in there negates this and also prevents us from making a quick transition from defense to attack as his passing is way too sideways. Glad Ralph has identified this.
  14. He s not mobile enough so won’t be a loss as long as we get another quick mobile midfielder which I have been asking from day one. Sounds like somebody is listening :-))))
  15. Thing is he doesn't gloat about it when he loses a bet. And i m sure he s lost more through bets than winning overall.
  16. Dropping Romeu was also key for me as he completely slows our attacks and passes sideways too much. Good player but don’t think he is suited to our up tempo style of play.
  17. Amen! At last a post with some sense.
  18. You don't judge a team over a limited run of games even if we lose 9-0. Ralph would probably have told you that he could turn the form around and to judge the results over the course of the season. --> Which is what any sensible fan or owner should do. Have you ever heard of the expression "you can't see the forest for the trees". It seems that most of you don't!
  19. The ones who called for Ralph to go are freaking short sighted and what you call fickle fans. They judge players or managers over a very limited period of time and do not have a long term outlook. Yes we will have more bumps along the way but that doesn t mean you have to call for the manager s head When each bump comes along Likewise the last run of form is fantastic but you don’t judge him over this either. You judge him over the period since he has arrived and he is has done a damn better job than his predecessors, with an attractive high pressing style of play and you can see how players have improved individually and as a team. And it is not finished, we need to give him time to build his team With players adapted to his way of playing and get out those that don’t. It is not going to be a quick fix as those players who don’t fit won’t be in great demand but that s why it is going to take a few transfer windows.
  20. If that equalizer had stood, we would all be complaining about how the officials robbed us. Time to put this Debate to bed. All the decisions of goals offsides were correct today. I bloody love VAR because we are no longer getting crappy decisions.
  21. Which would be sensible. Get cover in without burning yourself financially. Prefer to get permanent players in this summer when prices are less inflated, players are more likely to move. Unless a gem is available in January and immediately improves our team, I wouldn’t spend the money now
  22. Agree they ve all got to start somewhere, however having seen videos of him ob youtube, whilst all his goals are good finished (17 goals including 6 penalties), there is next to no defending around him, he has all the space and time in the world that he wouldn t have here. Can t really judge his general play he looks pacy on one of the first goals, he doesn t create himself any of the goals, they are all put on a plate for him or result of mistakes from defense. So very hard to see what he can bring to the table and also do we need him? Not convinced.
