the mention of jarl squads brings back memories of p1ssed up hairy old farts, usually waving large swords, axes or flaming torches about as they bellowed out sh1te songs as they went on a glorified pub crawl around the district. the beards seemed to have the practical use of not just keeping them warm but also storing enough food particles to keep them sustained on the p1ss up. why anyone could think they were fasionable is beyond me

Confidence in our teams ability and the usuall banter between fans is all i've seen lately. Would a bit of arrogance be so bad a thing,as long as it wasn't taken to far, or should we forever be doffing our cap to the bigger teams ?

What supporting the Saints means to you?
latter day saint replied to aussiesaint20's topic in The Saints
i wasn't born in Southampton & none of my family supported Saints untill we moved here when i as 13 but i have been a fan, according to your 2nd paragraph, for the past 25 years. my hometown didn't have a team & i also moved about a bit so had no affinity to a club untill my 1st visit to the Dell where it was love at 1st sight! surely the fact someone chose to support Saints rather than the easy option of glory hunting should be appluaded ? more the merrier, as long as they don't bring drums, foam hands or ballons! -
haha saw i bloke i know on that, so will be putting it on facebook to embarrass him some really good nights at the Rhythm Station even though it was a bit of a dump. looks like this was filmed in 94/95 ? was about then i stopped going as it got a bit cheesy by then & not the same vibe as 90-93.

Saints 2 V 0 Swansea Reaction & MotM thread
latter day saint replied to Stepgar's topic in The Saints
3 points deserved for a solid performance. Lallana & Boruc stood out for us, with Clyne looking impressive again. was expecting a bit more from Swansea to be honest. -
David McGoldrick lived up the road from me in small semi. I said hello a few times as he walked to his X5 but most of the time the c*nt ignored me

Been there twice, once with Feyenoord fans (interesting ) & the other time was for Sensation White so can't help with ticket info but will echo others in saying that the atmosphere was great & it's an impressive stadium. can't tell you about the catering as Feyenoord fans set fire to the kiosk's

i bet she's had plenty of pipe in her mouth over the years

nope, alongside ? maybe abit to defensive with the 3 of them in the middle but thought JWP was a bit further down the pecking order.
-
think the inclusion of JWP has more to do with Ramirez & Davis playing on wednesday, alough this doesnt apply to Cork which surprises me more
