As an ardent "anti-Ru**rt and Quisling" poster I have to say that it doesn't matter to me who appointed who. Ru**rt and Quisling chose the Total Football concept (wow, what a misnomer) and appointed the dynamic Dutch Duo. It was, and is continuing to be, a stupid thing to do. If Crouch had made those same choices I would have been just as fervently critical of him too. It's the choices and policies that matter. Do I think Crouch and/or McMenemy would have ever made those kind of choices? Hell no, they have a lot more common sense, and above all more love for the club!

This protest is about Ru**rt and Quisling's POLICIES. If Leon had retained his position AND if he had retained Pearson then hypothetically IF we were in the same league position and financially as much in the sh@tter as we are now then I assume there would be discontent, but nowhere near the protest and concern that you see now. There is only one possible outcome if the current POLICIES continue (youth players, marginal coaches,"Total football" adventure), and that's relegation and administration (in any order). That's what the protest is about.

Why the respect? Explain what there is to respect in his obvious wind-ups?

MONEY talks. Only if Ru**rt and the Quisling get their pay-off in some sort of take over, OR if they feel serious pain in their pocket will they get out. The former is not likely, and the latter will also hurt the club. I understand the dilemma. But considering that the club is already hurting, possibly dying, maybe a complete boycott, which will make it abundantly clear that the fans are willing to do what it takes to get these two idiots out, is the ONLY way that can achieve the objective.
