I'm not saying that it's OK, just that many of us here are judging those lads when all it was was a little high spirits. OK, the song is a bit lame admitted but from what we are being told there were no arrests in Weymouth. So I can't understand why so many fellow fans are getting all Godly about some lads on the beer. Maybe we just see each other's point, don't quite understand it and leave it at that? It was my daughter's birthday yesterday otherwise I may well have been there! Maybe not singing the song but certainly enjoying a beer, a chat and a few jokes. In the sun with guys I haven't seen for a year or two! **EDIT** According to Red Robbo, who I trust, the lads were not wearing footy tops.

Or Hoddle, according to the article! They say never go back, in most walks of life. With hindsight we did have some blooming good managers over the years and it's a pity, almost tragedy, that things have panned out the way they have. Just looking back and not prioritising their varying experience and levels of skill we have had Hoddle, WGS and even Nigel Pearson. I'm beginning to wonder what one of them paired with KK as D.O.F. could do. Maybe though KK and Hoddle wouldn't gel?

Let's hope we get a takeover soon and the red and white will become a flood across the region.

To be honest, I'm not patronising myself. I have done far worse, and I am sorry for what I did. However, intent is part of the act and you are guilty of intent, as you agreed. So where does that leave us? Certainly not really in a position to judge, from the OP, some lads on a day out in celebration of a mate who has passed on. Strangely, at this stage, I have to say I noticed (from other's comments) that the lads had managed to be both outside a town centre pub and on the beach at the same time! Could you honestly say that you have not, at some stage, had a good old rowdy sing song when in your beer? Do I correctly recall something about you lamping someone in a MacDonalds down in Plymouth? I apologise if I'm wrong on this count, memory doesn't always serve well but I do recall you telling some story? What you, and I, and many others have done over the years is wrong so we don't have the moral high ground in this instance.

Bigtone, the guy's contradicting himself. While moaning about alleged misbehaviour at Weymouth he has this to say over on the Glastonbury thread! That from a 'law abiding' member of this nation's Forces!

HAven't people gone off Pinnacle a little?
EastleighSoulBoy replied to sotonjoe's topic in The Saints
My enthusiasm for Pinnacle has admittedly dulled but I do hope that they sort things quickly this coming week. Maybe the appearance of the Swiss on the horizon will have gelded them into realising what the whole thing is about? That they may lose this battle with the FL, then regroup and fight things from within the system? If, as they say, they have money for investment in the team then ten points may not be such a problem. i really do think the argument was more about the FL hitting us for more. As I said elsewhere I think that maybe a gentlemen's agreement has been reached. -
Glad you all had a good time Robbo. Hopefully catch up with you in the season, Soul Cellar maybe? Take care mate. I thought exactly that earlier this morning.

You saw this then? Another sweeping generalisation from one of our nation's err. . . finest? Again, you saw this loutish behaviour? You lot above are beginning to sound like someone far to the right of Ghengis Khan. Fair play to the fellas below for replying to your daft comments.

I know a few of them and I think, over the years, that some may have demonstrated an ability to qualify for a residency there. If you get my drift?

It was the boys annual day out.

Whereas we felt that the FL were not allowing us a 'level playing field' might it be prudent for us fans, one and all, to go one better than the FL and afford our prospective new owners a level playing field. Then, when the honeymoon period is over we can criticise? I'm all for trying it.

An obnoxious term used to describe the word Yid (Yeed) for a more concise explanation please look here: Well said GM. Jolly good form sir!

Poll: How many points will Saints start on?
EastleighSoulBoy replied to PaulSaint's topic in The Saints
I have a feeling that hands have been shaken, backs slapped and we'll hear no more other than confirmation we have agreed to take the ten point penalty. A 'gentleman's agreement' shall we call it? I guess that the members of the FL board would not like to be seen as anything less than 'gentlemen'? -
Except in Dubai, Phil?

I believe that the post quoted above was probably Tony's last post on here and he'll have no need to post again. The support at this level is weakening, dramatically.

Why can't Guided Missile answer the question??
EastleighSoulBoy replied to Mole's topic in The Saints
Well SaintBobby, if this post is indeed David Extance hijacking Saintlee's account then the first statement is b0llox. This is because David Extance posted on here as St David, all through the summer of 2007! I even at one stage had his telephone number when a few of us were being sucked in by Marc Jackson's fantasy. He claimed to me that his own TSF (?) account had been hijacked and his PC hacked, although I cannot vouch in the truth of that statement he made to me. I believe that St David was also sucked in by MJ. Remember those grandiose plans? The flirting with HelpmeRhondda over the chilled wine? Make of the rest, of his post, what you will. **EDIT** It looks like I'm not the only one who thinks David is an attention seeker! -
Maybe, just maybe, the Echo knows more than we know?

Why do potential owners feel the need......
EastleighSoulBoy replied to lordswoodsaints's topic in The Saints
I'll have you know that this is no amateur forum packed with loonies. We're all professional loonies! -
At this stage of the game, which it is now appearing to be for Pinnacle, I'd suggest reigning in the enthusiasm for the damp squib and taking a more cautious look at what the Swiss people may have to offer? I have come to the conclusion that Pinnacle, for whatever reason, are not going to be able to do this deal.

Like you say, something conveniently dreamed up in support of a name commonly used by local rivals around the country. Perhaps that's why Turd Island is known affectionately as Portsmyth here in God's part of Hampshire?
