"what goes around comes around" = Poopey
EastleighSoulBoy replied to Tac-tics's topic in General Sports
As it would seem people are alleging corruption all over the Premier League it would shock me if they vetoed their own chairman. A sudden attack of principles? Good Lord! -
The Sun already does that.

How about a triple of Phil The Greek, Robert Mugabe along with Griffin (the gammy eyed one) as manservant? At least they all have certain similar tendencies! -

The US Navy today announced that it has released a senior planner for the Somali pirate ring after questioning him extensively for 27 days while being held prisoner aboard a US aircraft carrier in the Arabian Sea . In a humanitarian gesture, the terrorist was given $50 US and a white 1962 Ford Falcon automobile upon being released from custody. The Navy even went to the trouble to ensure his seat belt was correctly fastened. The attached photo shows the terrorist on his way home just after being released by the Navy.

what happens if Pinacle/MLT retain Wotte as manager
EastleighSoulBoy replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Saints
I'd be happier to see a manager with English, lower league experience appointed. With all respect to Mark Wotte I don't think he has what it takes. I will support them though, like most of us I was chosen, I just can't walk away over a manager. -
On a positive note (mods, are they allowed on here?) that pay day seems to tie in nice and close with the end of exclusivity.

The official 'how long can it take to say nothing' thread

And with that type of thinking we started a bloody war! -
I think that 500k was a good spend as part of the risk assessment/ decision making process! What if they didn't pay it but just stumped up, say 15 million to complete the deal, only to find a 20 million black hole? Rather the 500k than 15 million plus the black hole?

Would you like us to tell you what we think you might like to know? Or the facts? If it's facts, and the better choice in my humble opinion, then here they are: None of us on here have the slightest clue as to what is exactly happening. We can assume, ponder, guess, draw conclusions and do just about everything else. But we don't have a clue. Fansonline are exactly the same. Desperate to know, frustrated at not knowing but still without a clue. I hope, sincerely, that this helps.

Anyone remember the scaffold pole? (short type, called a puttlog in the old days? cross piece, used for tying the scaffold into the brickwork and supporting the boards). That's why the Brighton disappeared!

I saw Bob at Eastleigh Market last Saturday. He's walking with quite a limp now, has had lots of back problems from rugby (and launching himself from crush barriers, through the crowd, to grab some unsuspecting chorister in the Archers). He's still a wide fella though!
-
Lips was his nick name. PM me if you want his real name. Bobby Gough, Eastleigh O.B. loved nicking him up the Archers, back in the day when we used to go there to 'serenade' the away support. The incident at the Goldstone was, I think, near Christmas 77 or 78? I haven't got ITN to hand for reference. ** Jan 2nd '78

Us Eastleigh lads were calling the blue few 'skates' from about 74 or 75. We had a DJ in The Crown who lived in Havant (Market Parade) and he called them Skates. He explained to us why and it seemed only polite to call all from that region by the name. Certainly more polite that 'fish farquahar' I think.

Skates was a term used by the inhabitants of turd town for the navy ratings. Obviously a derogatory one which we have adopted to mean anything from turd town including the indigenous population. It would not be right to repeat the story on a family forum.
