Hmmm you have me thinking Phil. Who is conspicuous by his recent absence? What was Paul Hardcastle's first big hit? Could the answer may lie somewhere between 18 and 20!

Nationwide issued new cards to us within 3 days (quoted 7) and returned the £600 within a week (quoted 10 days). Can't complain at all. (Well, not in this instance!)

What's more galling is that it's really their own making as well!

Good reading which beggars this question (and then some others!). If Pinnacle are supremely confident of winning an appeal would they have the financial cojones to call the FL's bluff, take it to court and possibly win the day, all for a club they do not, as yet, own? I'd like to think they would but can't really see it happening. In the meantime the start of the season looms inexorably nearer and this club needs funding, it needs to sell match and season tickets, to what though? A league of which we are no longer members? The whole thing seems designed, by the FL, to force us into liquidation. Which leads to this 'Golden Share', (Jason did far better in his search for the Golden Fleece, fleece springs to mind in our current dealings with the FL, but I digress) for the FL to be talking of us 'not getting it back' implies that they have taken it from us in the first instance. That being the case, when was it taken? If before the season end (presumably at the time of the points deduction) were they allowing us to unknowingly fulfil, illegally, our fixtures? I don't need to tell you my fellow fans that this situation 'effing well stinks'! I think that now, if it can be done, Pinnacle should take the deduction so we can get up and running. Then let's get some top drawer legal bods on the case and see if we can really 'stick some cold steel' right into the gizzards of this shambolic FL. For what it's worth this FL have achieved one thing. The fan base is now more united in it's aims and voice than it has been for many a year! F U C K you & your colleagues Mr Mawhinney with your blinkered, bullying attitudes!

Not naive Duncan, more like Utopian in your outlook? This is rock and hard place territory and I couldn't play hardball with what is our pride and joy, Struggling Southampton, so I'd take the points deduction and live to fight another day. Maybe build a case and then, from within, throw a few fecks at the FL? However, I'm not a money man and haven't a clue as to how Pinnacle have structured their bid or how Begbies have arranged it either! And I thought that the sad, crappy days were coming to an end.

"You can't play our game 'cos you're better at it than us" You really couldn't make it up! Areswipes!

Poor old Nick lost the plot a little when talking about Wotte. Certainly a better interview than the one that bloke gave outside Dean Court last year.

Very telling point, which is why I now have an 'ordinary' car!

I had the previous model Zafira and while an excellent car the comfort of the rear two seats is compromised by them being able to fold into the floor for load space. Otherwise no concerns. I Also had a Galaxy which was far roomier and comfortable but not as quickly adaptable as the Zafira. Comparing the two current versions though I'd still go for the Ford.

I know we shouldn't assume anything in life. However, doesn't this mean that they are happy with the deal, to lodge names is a serious declaration of intent surely?

That Charlton game was a Friday night affair and my 21st birthday. Absolutely slashed with rain all night and I didn't get a drink until the Saturday! Not a way to celebrate a milestone!

Now. Where. Have. I. Heard. This. Before. ? Pride before the fall?

Just in case this is not rhetorical, Paul Tisdale?

Don't know, but when you get there all the signs point South.

LOL! And when will the results of this Private Investigation be made public? How will we know that those taking part have a. Been rigorously questioned? and b. Been free of any influence as to what their honest answer should be? The way things are with Governments and National Security we''ll probably get a curt response. Such like: " That scientist who 'committed suicide' gave us all erroneous information which we acted upon in good faith" "So there!"

No disrespect to PT but I would hope for someone a little more well known to the average fan? However, I'm sure that whoever is tasked with appointing a manager will have Saints best interests at heart. We need to place our trust and support firmly behind that decision.

The good old Echo know more about Eastleigh than the Council do:rolleyes: . Where are these flats which have been built on the site of the old Earth building? The roof is open to the elements in some places and, apparently, there is about a foot of pigeon guano in some places. If so that's going to be a H&S nightmare to sort! I don't think a nightclub is really needed in Eastleigh, it will encourage all the out of town window lickers in. That in turn will set the local window lickers up for a spot of slap and laugh.

And that m'lud sums up the case for the prosecution. Well shot of in my opinion.

Bugs has never met Elma. FACT Conversely, he does have a love hate relationship with an Elmer J. Fudd.

Will the MPs be claiming the mortgage payments on SMS from their expenses? A sort of 'static ex duckhunters lodge'?

Definitely. We wouldn't be any other way now, being Southampton.
