I see your point. If you don't ask you don't get. Do try it, but I think you'll be wasting your time mate. Unless she gets suitably embarrassed.

I think that even a non abusive approach will be stonewalled. If they didn't stop then they have no conscience and will deny all involvement. Your word V their word. End of story, end of Police interest. Very harsh but that's life. I would have been very angry at the time but by now would be calm and thinking why should I waste my time and emotion on something I could basically do nothing about.

£1000 fine if you have the wrong address
EastleighSoulBoy replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
About a month ago I was on my way into work one afternoon, 15.00, as I came off the Spitfire roundabout there was a white van there with the flaps open on the rear doors. I assumed it was to catch people who come off that roundabout at speed. As I slowed and turned right into the Ford car park I saw a flash of headlights and realised that I had a 3 series estate behind me, O.B., no flashing lights or anything. I proceeded to where I normally park and then reversed into place. The car shot across in front of me and it was then I realised they wanted me. It was all very polite and I asked if I was in trouble, it was not a speed trap but an ANPR van and, apparently, my vehicle was on the database as not insured. I had no documents on me but showed my work pass, gave my D.O.B. and he gave the info to his mate in the car. While we talked I offered to produce and he assured me I'd probably not need to. He then slipped this nugget into the chat " Had a drink today sir?" I told him no because I was on my way to work but explained that, as a Diabetic, my breath might smell sweet and raise his suspicions. He then went and got my I.D. and assured me I was 'in the clear as I was on another database'. Apparently they do not use the MIND but one of their own which does not get backed up as frequently as the MIND. -
Try SMS, there's a terrific cowboy outfit there at this moment in time.

Anywhere with a PO postcode is somewhere to avoid. However, if you have to go then take a look in your local surplus store for totally enclosed protective anti radiation/infection gear. They come with breathing apparatus and HEPA filters. Well worth the £4,973, VAT rate reduced at P.O.S. HTH :yawinkle:

Lowe will have to go if he sacks Jan Portvleit

I believe that we had all that with Nigel Pearson. I bet Mandic must be rubbing his hands and gloating now. :smt012 -

I can well envisage him sacking Portvliet and blaming him! The bloke has more front than Brighton. -

Agreed We'd not be able to compete against the likes of Leicester (who will not be there anyway), or Nottingham, Doncaster who would regroup while we would be following the path of 'prudent fiscal behaviour'. I really believe that we are doomed, both on and off the pitch.

I was given a copy today by Mrs ESB. A good read so far.

not quite finally correct at this moment in time. (Try to still spell in English) Ford are considering the move of transit van production to Turkey. John Fleming is putting a proposal to Detroit, somewhen in the new year, to move van production to Kocaeli but that same proposal also includes moving most or all Transit chassis cab production to the UK (Southampton). That will, obviously, affect livelihoods in the area. Not least those of supply chain personnel and their employers.

At home, earlier today!

And the same glad tidings to you! A win on the Euro, when it's up at £100 million, might well help to get a change of luck for Saints!

Firstly it might pay to find out how many actually voted (share wise). Then see what that percentage actually represents.

:smt044 :smt078 I'll have a pint of whatever you're on pal! No, it wouldn't work because of the rivalry. If that did happen I'd be watching Eastleigh. Merry Christmas and all that :yawinkle: -
And remember to do those buckles up nice and tight, at the end of your sleeves. :yawinkle:

I think you're right. In fact I think that after the next three league games, if we come away with a derisory points haul (2 or 3), then the attendances will start to spiral downwards at an alarming rate.

You obviously still look as beautiful and young as you did before 18.
