  1. We can't control what happens in any game, just contribute to an atmosphere, at home, which makes winning more possible. Not forgetting our travelling fans who put on a great show every time. Keep shouting, singing and cheering. Hopefully we'll keep winning. The rest of them? let them worry about what we're doing. I want us to be Champions, hopefully, but second wll suit me down to the ground. COYR!
  2. The Ho returns. What wind of good fortune has filled your sails this time my little pikelet? Have the skates won a game or progressed in the cup or something? No, wait, don't tell me. Riquelme has been spotted at Gunwharf!
  3. If they are there on 07/05/2011 @ 17.00 approximately then I will be ecstatic!
  4. Was that the lady who was talking about some 'hammer chewer doing a botch job' ?
  5. Corrected for you.
  6. This. Right now I'd be willing to take a draw but if we snatch a win (in off someone's arrrse) I'd jump for joy!
  7. A moment's respect please. Far too young. http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/teams/m/macclesfield_town/9355603.stm
  8. And Barny @c.£125K sounds incredible TBH.
  9. When I first signed up to an earlier incarnation of this forum there were two 'buzz' phrases doing the rounds. 1. attention seeking whore 2. don't feed the troll I think of these almost every time a certain person posts. Try as I might I cannot always avoid replying to that person. I thought, at times, that I was the only one who had that opinion of that person. Of late it would appear that I am not alone in those thoughts. I picture this person, living in a tied house, with Mum, with nothing else but work and seeking quotes and posting them on an internet forum as an interest in life. Please, do not delete this forum as it could lead to this person taking their life. This person needs and craves our attention.
  10. Holloway is one of those 'lovable rogues' in football. Manic when in front of a camera or microphone but often calm otherwise. As to those over on the 'bummers board', did they not sing a similar song to us when we played them? Did NA get so up his own arrrs that he had to comment on the radio? Of course not. NA has his feet firmly planted and he saw it all for what it was, just banter. Football, like many lines of business, is a hard game and if you have the tendency to dislike being called names then you are best off out of it. Maybe Holloway should consider a different line of employment? But then where would we get our laughs after the Fratton Park pantomime finally leaves town?
  11. This. NA sent him out on loan and then, after the Exeter game, when questioned about transfer activity and, in particular Puncheon, he replied " He's our boy, let's get him back and see where we go from there". Playing him today Cup tied him, not an error on NA's part but a statement of intent. He will work on and with Puncheon. NA will improve him, of that I am sure and today was just a taster of what JP is capable of. He played well and was busy all the time.
  12. Dune's hair photoshop stylee?
  13. Could the players, if bloody minded enough and not worried about their careers, just sit on their contracts until they expire? That way they would have to be paid for not playing.
  14. Dawgs not mutts!
  15. Very sad news, another fine musician passes.
  16. That's his present sorted for next Christmas then.
  17. Their argument with FIFA will be interesting. DFCSBs "We have to sell him as we can't afford the wages" FIFA "Why did you buy him then?" DFCSBs "We had to complete the deal which was previously arranged but we couldn't complete in time during the last window" FIFA "But back then you were in administration and supposed to be fiscally prudent with reference to your commitments to your C.V.A." DFCSBs "What does 'fiscally prudent' mean?"
  18. I remember that they didn't want to dance with Lipsy and his short scaffold pole way back then.
  19. Are you saying that their fans are chickens? On a serious note, their comments are a little *****y but then I've always felt that we should have taken Spuds in 78 and helped Brighton up but, just like Bompey, their fans see a rivalry that doesn't really exist. They are simply not on our radar, just a quaint little seaside town somewhere between Selsey and Hastings. Good luck to them, the rest of the season is going to be interesting
  20. TBH I don't frequent this place much, due to racism and other crap. So I'm seldom able to keep up! I apologise for not knowing about another thread. I just thought you were trying to cause an argument which, at face value here, didn't seem to exist. My apologies, also, for having a go about it with you.
  21. Yes for squad depth. Just worriied that he'll return with an attitude though.
  22. Where has DPSaint mentioned their colour? What has their colour to do with the subject? Some latent racist tendencies here? And I don't mean DPSaint!
