Yes, but they can't get it under the Itchen Bridge.
-
As I said in the post match thread lino in the first half put his flag up for offside against Guly and he was still at the bar on the Northam concourse.
-
The two mins added time in the first half, I remarked that seems a long two mins my mate replied its Fergy time.

Sad silly little man always finds something to have a moan about always has a face like a smacked arse, next up at home another manager who has Saints high up on his list of clubs he loves to have a pop at.
-
Not the best performance of the season but no matter how you play you only get 3 points for a win, thought their keeper made a couple of good saves 2nd half to keep us down to 2. Bloody lino in the first half gave Guly off side when he was still at the bar in the Northam, Chappers was my MOM again.

Steve I will sound out my son in laws cousin who works as a legal secratary for well known firm around the top of London Road. But my thoights are that if this was challenged by the time all the papers were drawn up ect the game would have been and gone and Saints would be another 3 points better off.

Just out of interest and fair play(cough), I am sure it has been mentioned are they going to have bubble travel when they swim up to our place.

A very good all round team performance Guly's first and Connolly's were crackers and the knock back from Lambert for Guly's second was agreat bitof vision. Guly could have had a couple more, Lambert could have had a couple his volly that the keeper saved late on deserved to hit the back of the net. I was a bit dissapointed with Borough all I can remember is about 5 or 6 shots from distance thought it would be a bit tighter than it was, we won it at a canter if we got 5 it would not have flatered us. Chalow edged it as MOM, I would give an average mark of 8.5 to each player.

Palace 2 - 0 Saints - Post Match Reaction Thread

Very good well balanced first post, I only listened to the game on Saints Player and I would agree with most of the above. -
Looking forward to the walk from Rodney Road round the side of Notarf with them trying to give the V sign but can't because of the webbed skin between their fingers. And them being held up trying to get on the M27 from about Fareham West as we go by.

I was just trying to make it sound better than it was.

Before he can get the tittle of RCFG, he has got to go on a run beat about 6 players pop the ball in the net just like CMFG did.
-
That was a good point in a game we could have and maybe should have lost, Reading did their home work and did not let us play the Adkins way.
-
Adkins takes a leaf out of the Wenger book
-
But if a club like West Brom, Blackburn or Wigan offer him £2k a week more than us?
-
IMO we are two or three players short, a couple at the back and one up front which is the general opinion. The balance and togetherness of the squad looks very good so Adkins needs to bring in players that will not upset the harmony which I am sure he will.
-
Very pleased with that result it was the acid rest to see how far we have come. Just a couple of why's, why did we sit back and let them come onto us and make a twitchy bum last ten, which I said would happen the build up thread and why did the ref not let play go whe SDR scored. Talking to to some WHU fans on the way back to the car and they not happy with big Sams style, quote its not the West Ham way.
