Well done Benjii, that's using the old noggin Come on lads!

I won £100 off a £1 bet for my flukey prediction of a 4-4 with Peteborough, along with a further £15 for Chaplow scoring first. I can feel the same thing happening today, I've gone for 5-1 saints @ 80/1 and Fonte to score first @ 22/1

One of the comments on that article accuses many saints fans of being 'glory hunters'
-
No prematch interviews on the OS is weird. I guess it's coz the team stayed up north, but I like to hear ADKINO'S build up
-
Oops didn't see that Roger had started Morgan. Hammond and Chaplow will start Imo
-
Yep I agree about Guly. That's the starting line up I expect to see, except Harding will start in place of Dickson imo
-
Hammond and Chaplow are arguably the most effective partnership against the majority of league 1 teams, particularly away from home. Morgan is the best player of the three but it says a lot about him that he controlled the midfield against Man Utd, but struggled against Tranmere. He will be awesome if/when we go up an play against better footballing teams

I've got a bit of a theory on this. A few months back I was listening to Solent on the way back from a game, and a moany Bmouth fan texted in saying something along the lines of "Why are the Cherries still featured 3rd? We are much higher up the league than saints. moan etc moan". (we were midtable at the time I think) The anchor, I think Chris Temple, then came out with a brilliant line of "well it might be something to do with the fact that there were 23k fans at St. Mary's today compared to a maximum of 12k at Dean Court.... but...erm.... not that I'm being disrespectful to the Cherries who have had.. erm.. a great start to the season... OK so on to more of your texts then!" It came across as quite degrading to Bompey and CT was obviously embarassed and didn't mean what he said to come across as rude. Anyway, since then we have pretty much always been 3rd in the reports...

Davis Butterfield - Fonte - Jaidi - Harding Oxo - Chaplow - Schniederlin - Lallana Guly - Lambert Bart Richardson - Seaborne - Martin - Dickson N'Guessen - Hammond - Gobern - Forte Barnard - Connolly THIS is the reason why I'm not worried. In fact, I'm a little bit excited! -
It is now firmly in our hands. Come on boys we can do this!!!
-
How annoying. Bored
-
He has indeed, pretty decent wage too. JWP will not be moving anytime soon, his parents are keen for him to progress with saints (despite being ardent P#mpey fans!). There has been interest from a lot of clubs including Chelsea and Liverpool but as I said, he is happy here.

Indeed st. clark, how nice it is to have a chairman with a bit of dignity
-
I've heard the reason it broke down is coz Stu invited some of the old admins of saintsweb to watch the game in his directors box
-
Haha what a total douche! Also, why would sky put it on TV!? They're trying to build up into some monumentous occasion. I hope it's a really drab game which we win 2-0 and never leave second gear. That would **** them off.
-
There's no reason why that shouldn't happen, except that we're saints, so something will happen to make it difficult somewhere along the line!

I was just having a read of the Sheffield Wednesday forum to see their thoughts on their bizarrely bad form, and I came across a thread from a couple of months back. It said that the most losses a team has suffered and still gained automatic promotion is 12. This got me thinking, we have so far lost 8 games (3 at home, 5 away). Can we now go the next 18 games without losing more than 4 times? I reckon we can, and we will need to. In fact, the way Bourno and Brighton are going, it may be even less than that. What do you think? how many points will we need from the remaining games? How many losses can we suffer before it becomes an impossible ask?
-
I just like: 'BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO'
-
Charlton losing is the big one for me. They were the team I felt could make a late surge for second, but now if we can take 4 points from them then they're out of it in my opinion
-
Balls, Peterborough have scored
-
Sheff Wed 3-0 down. They are rubbish! Tottenham 1 up against AC Milan
-
I liked him. As a midfielder though, not a CB.
