  1. If the EPL is the most watched and gossiped about league in the world and European clubs like Lens shouting loud to EUFA as well, are we not well past that stage now?
  2. Tell me about it. If I had a pound for everyone I've murdered after getting tanked on lager etc etc etc....
  3. I hate to say this, but it's almost like he's given up on actually playing football anymore and is only interested now in getting the full whack from his contract. His career is passing him by and he doesn't seem to care. If this is so, then i hope he doesn't look back in years to come with great regret on what might have been.

  5. Indeed, and maybe there's more signings to come like today's that we have absolutely no idea about - this is fun!

  7. Was it because of the Seaborne deal, or the medical, or neither, or both?
  8. I can wish can't I? :smt023
  9. Was Bomber Harris your Dad? His famous saying when asked about the effectiveness of carpet-bombing in WW2 was - 'well it has never been tried - and we will see.' Old family saying?
  10. I'd like to go up this season and next season.
  11. I was starting to quite miss the embarrasing England cricket team collapses of yore. I like to be able to depend on certain things in life. Now I feel much better! Seriously though, I don't think SA will make a lot either.
  12. Indeed. A nice piece of opportunism by the club. It is also plainly stated on the OS in the first paragraph that he is here to provide competition for the RB slot. This IMO is totally different to us signing a RB on a lengthy contract, as we have done with Fonte and Seaborne. I would expect that as soon as Murty is fit he will resume, unless JO has made the position his own by then. Who knows, he may not even have played for the 1st team by then! - (that now means he will definitely start at Millwall -d'oh!) Healthy competition for each place is essential for a winning team.
  13. Bye Bye Rafa?
  14. All you really have to decide then is whether to turn left or right onto the M3. A bit like that episode of Dr Who!!
  15. Ryan Smith released by Palace! http://www.holmesdale.net/page.php?id=106&tid=93819
  16. Raziak and Mills both had great chances. and LONG 2-1
  17. Threw my hands up in the air and fell off the back of my chair - head hurts now!
  18. Reading should have won easily in 90 mins. 3-4 excellent chances.
  19. Nothing to lose - potentially a wee gem. To quote DannySFC - 'We shall see'
  20. Lead story on Channel 4 news.
  21. Yeah, I use that route as well sometimes and driving back after matches it is the way to go as the roads are empty (got back from the Exeter game in just under 2 hours). My only concern for Baj would be the possibility of Saturday morning hold ups getting round the top of Southampton and then same probs at Salisbury, even using the rat run round the A3094 which can build up at the Wilton lights. Then there's the road from Wilton to the A303 which is a lot of 30mph/lorries etc. As Baj was leaving from Eastleigh I thought it might be just as well to head north on (hopefully) clear dual carriageways. The bit from Bullington to Salisbury can be done in 15 minutes. I shall let the train take the strain.

  23. I would walk that league...............................literally.

  25. Well I can do Taunton - Southampton that way in just over 2 hours (@120 miles), so give yourself another hour or so for Taunton - Exeter & parking etc. There are various speed cameras on the A303, especially on the few single-carriage bits so be wary. Otherwise you can get a wriggle on, no problem!
