  1. Only if we can sign his old striking partner from Liverpool. Then we'll have a Russian Fouler in our team. Get it? Eh? Eh? Get it? Eh?
  2. http://www.saintsfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10280~1941487,00.html Moved to 19:45, not live on TV.
  3. I'll fit one for you but you'll need to send me the wallet/purse etc. complete with all the cards etc so I can get the spec right.
  4. Farewell, Symmetrically, doubtless you will score the last goal of the season against us at SMS in the regular season's final home match. unfortunately, Southend will be 6-0 down by then.
  5. Squished nose fetish, obviously. These can only be acquired in the boudoir by tripping over a suitcase. Fact.
  6. One is new and it has been very successful in us not conceding from set pieces. It has saved us conceding in excess of 40 more goals this season!
  7. You are him, aren't you. C'mon admit it.
  8. I have certain rituals but one of them is if I make them known then they won't work.
  9. Just got back. I wimped out after looking at the weather forecast and made a last minute decision to go by train. I couldn't get a hotel that late in MK or Bletchley but managed to book a cheap hotel room in Brum so went for it. So I get to MK and there's not a snowflake to be seen!! Sod's law. Still, had a relaxed breakfast in the superbly Art Deco restored GWR Moor Street Station Cafe, followed by a cultural morning in the Birmingham Art Gallery. Got home just in time to sit down and watch the whole match again on Sky.
  10. I had the same problem. It showed up in the Cup match section in 'My Account' but nothing happened when I clicked on it. I emailed the ticket office and it was sorted within an hour of sending the email.
  11. Brilliant to hear - looking out for each other is what it's all about. I might not be here today if it hadn't been for 2 Saints fans who stopped me from being suffocated against the wall outside the Milton Road End turnstiles in the crush to get into the Dell, when we achieved our record crowd of 31044 against Man Ure in 1969. I was 13 and only 5 foot tall then. One of them lifted me up out of the crush and held me against the wall until a space was formed to let me down into. I can still remember the relief of being able to breathe again and the weird feeling of looking down on the heads of everyone in the queue. They looked after me during the match and made sure I got on the train home ok afterwards.
  12. It's gone through the wash in your trousers which have been hung out on the line. The wallet has fallen out of the pocket and is in the flowerbed or a passing fox has made off with it.
  13. Perhaps we will see a new product from Kraft/Cadbury A flavoursome Cheese / Chocolate combination perchance?
  14. ...and posed you have Sir, posed you have indeed...:smt081
  15. Wemberley, Wemberley, Wemberley etc etc I know there's been a long running Final thread and one on the Away board, plus Ticket threads, but it's Monday now and it's my birthday and i'm treating myself. I think we will draw the 1st Leg. Hopefully a great atmosphere from our travelling fans and a good reaction from the team after the last second disappointment at Millwall. Don't forget it's a 7.00pm kick-off
  16. Yes, that kind of slightly mad, semi-hysterical laugh. There was a lot of that around me, including me.
  17. At your service.
  18. They speak very highly of you. Perhaps their amicable felicitations were misplaced?
  19. Many thanks - sounds like a plan then! I can tick off another new road travelled on in my Ian Allan Roadspotter's book!!
  20. Well if the big boys knock each other out and the magic FACup dust has been sprinkled upon us then it's champagne in the bath at Wembley!! That's the thing with cups - realistically it's hard to be realistic!
  21. Everland Thistle or Sunderton albion.
  22. I'm that sad that I've just 'flown' the route on Google Earth and it looks ok - odd dual carriageway bits either side of Oxford and Buckingham etc.
  23. I'll be there. Was going to train it from Didcot but unexpectedly not working there this week so will be driving from Taunton as I can't get back the same night by train.
  24. Not sure, I've never used it, but it is an A road so hopefully it'll be Ok. http://www.distance-calculator.co.uk/distance-from-taunton-to-milton_keynes.htm I'm going to leave Taunton in the morning and take my time as I want have a look round Bletchley. I lived there as a wee lad (56-63) and have never been back. I'll park somewhere in Bletchley and walk to the ground. As for the drive back, I'll see what the roads are like as more snow is forecast. I'll take the sleeping bag and kip in the van if needs be and then drive home on Thursday morning.
