  1. The only other one I can remember is Matt Robinson. I think he was a full back and played for both
  2. Should there be another thread for this?
  3. +1.
  4. Luton if i remeber correctly. Was quite funny
  5. I think it should go to either Dickson or Richardson. Both were superb today and really deserve their places judging by their performances. If not them, then Chaplow.
  6. Was going to say the same thing
  7. He's not Houlliers biggest fan?
  8. Agree completely
  9. This is the way I'm seeing it too.
  10. Wha does this have to do with Cortese? Burley's compensation was the same ideal as is happening here, that both parties are trying to get the best deal for their respective clubs. Only difference is that we didn't try to have the SFA's trousers down over it as Scunny appear to be trying on us.
  11. Dignity at work.
  12. Nothing was confirmed from our end at all, all the reports have come from Scunny's end. Unless you were involved in the negotiations, you know as much as the rest of us about the finer details. Speculate all you like, the same as the rest of us, but to call it a Cortese balls up could well be wide of the mark. Or not. Who knows.
  13. I wouldn't think so. I can't imagine him being too popular at Scunny either, having (reportedly) agreed terms with us. How can his reputation there be intact after actively trying to leave?
  14. this
  15. I can't for the life of me see it being Brown, especially since his reporting of his interveiw to the media. Cortese doesn't like club business being released in this way, and because of this, I think he may have talked his way out of the Job, in much the same way Scu(n)thorpe seem to have done for NA. I believe the successful candidate will certainly be one who maintains a professional and dignified silence. No idea who that may be though.
  16. Because we are only a year and 3 games into the 5 year plan I would imagine. There is still 3 years and 43 games to go.
  17. Is this tongue in cheek?
  18. A back up to Rickie should be another player with a physical prescence who other teams will double up on when marking, able to unsettle defenders, strong, good in the air and know where the goal is. Although nowhere near as prolific, I think that Jon Parkin would fit the bill for this role. This league, IMO, would suit him. Not sure he would come here to warm the bench but I reckon he'd be well worth a shout.
  19. R.I.P Markus. Thankyou for everything you havevdone for our club. You will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with your family and friends.
  20. Or the HMRC QC's costs?
  21. Just because you can't see it, doesn't mean it isn't happening. You're preaching your doom and gloom with no basis other than your negative anti-club opinion just for a reaction. Nowhere have backed any of what you're saying up with facts, just supposition. But this seems to be your M.O. I await your bashing of me for daring to have an opinion other than yours;)
  22. You rotter!
  23. Like that you mean? Was answering the Jermaine McGlashen question lol
  24. He played at Winchester the other week and looked a handy player. Left Winger. Very fast, can cross and tackle. Had a goal chalked out for offside despite looking like being in line. Good finish too.
