  1. Southampton population - 228,600 (20% ethnic minority) Blackburn population - 105,085 (20% ethnic minority) When you add to this the fact that Blackburn is surounded by other clubs it shows how crap our support really is. That said it can be argued that the sea covers 50% of our catchment base.
  2. SWF is clearly his life. It's quite sad really.
  3. Nah mate, you'll go the same way as William Joyce.
  4. This won't be a popular view, but if it was down to me i'd put the away fans in the itchen corner and free up the whole Northam for home fans.
  5. To be fair mate you hardly come across as being normal. I've got not problems with individuality as it's better than being boring, but you do seem to revel in being the centre of attention. Do you enjoy being disliked or is this the only way you feel able to be noticed?
  6. I'm thinking the same thing. It'd be a prudent contingency measure....
  7. I made this exact point the other week. It's madness to attack the Chapel in the second half. Club officials read this site - so sort it out.

    Ticket stubs

:smt045 I've noticed on ebay how people buy and sell used ticket stubs and always thought it weird. If anyone wishes to purchase 20 used Regal dog ends let me know.

    Boo Boys

And that'll really help won't it. Confidence is low anyway and the players need us to stick by them. If your attitude becomes the accepted attitude then we are f*cked because we are the 12th man and now is when supporters should support!
  10. I can only speak for myself, but despite the results (which haven't been good) i'm enjoying my football more now than i have done for years. Prior to Mr Liebherr arriving SFC was all about providing Rupert Lowe with a personal ego trip/personal piggy bank. Now we're a club where i feel my contribution in attending is deserved by the club and that the owner of the club is giving more than he's taking. OK many will pick holes in how i feel but that's how it is for me and i'm enjoying being part of this new era. I may only contribute a small amount but i'm pleased to be doing my small bit and feel that it's appreciated for the right reasons. Those who are now moaning about results just don't seem to get it, but hey that's their look out. I'm happy and none of the doom merchants on here are going to stop me enjoying the journey. SFC is a club on the up. It's not going to happen overnight but Mr Liebherr and his family are here for the long haul and that fills me with optimism. Keep the faith, chill, and enjoy it. That is what it's all about.
  11. Well said LTC. I can't really be bothered reading this forum much because of the handful of mongs that can only post negative opinions. It's their right to moan all the time, but they are boring as ****.
  12. Shut up you boring nob.
  13. I couldn't give a f*ck. MLT = Legend.
  14. Saints 4-0 Colchester
  15. Same here. I couldn't be arsed to go when Rupert Lowe was at the club but this season i've been 3 times already and can't wait to go again when i can afford it.
  16. For the first time in several years i think we can and will dish out a thrashing soon. We just need 2 goal lead (and the confidence that'll bring) and from that we've got the ability to make it 4 or 5.
  17. N'Diaye ooo-ooooh, N'Diaye ooooh ooooh ooooh oooooh, He comes from Senegal, (Just need the final verse) To the tune of Volare... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oNgSeJzLJFc&feature=fvw
  18. We're loaded so there's no reason why we can't get some loan players in if required. Don't panic we've now got a good team that's gelling more and more with every game.
  19. £5 is about right for this noddy cup for noddy clubs.
  20. This just brings home how far we've fallen in recent years. What a sh*thole that town was even by Northern standards.
  21. I expect us to survive - just. Given how rubbish we were a week before the season started and given the 10 point penalty that would be a satisfactory season. If we still had last seasons squad we'd struggle in L2.
  22. And the fact he's a boring attention seeker.
  23. The amount of singing was poor, and yes the lack of a roof was a factor, but looking around the stand the real problem is a lack of young adults in our away support nowadays. More families and couples and elderly fans are attending games and hats off to them for staying loyal, but serious questions must be asked of the SWF generation. Reading the whingey posts of the kids on this site leads me to the conclusion that our support in the 16-25 bracket is a real problem. Perhaps the last few years lean years have been a factor because the level of support from the youngsters is poor. This has a knock on affect and impacts on the standing issue. Personally i'd rather stand up, but at the same time i've got respect for my elders and what gives me the right to stand up in front of an elderly person who can't stand up for long periods - it's a pretty c**tish thing to do, but that's just the way i see it. At Stockport i was at the back of the stand with a couple of rows behind and in those rows were middle aged adults so i stood up for periods of the game, but if some old dear had been behind me i'd have consciously made the effort to have some consideration. We're all part of the Saints family and i'd expect most would have the same level of respect. It's all about give and take.
  24. I was again very impressed with "Rodney" Trottman. He'll become a very good player. Solid at the back, good with his head (although he needs to work on directing the ball with his head), and a calming influence. Without a doubt a crucial part of our team. I've been to Huddersfield, Brentford and Stockport and every game we've improved, but te midfield need to become better in turning our possesion into cutting edge delivery. They worked hard yesterday but there were times when they had time to look up and play the ball more calmly. The club and the team are making progress and deserve our support. I'd urge patience and to ignore the likes of Delldays (who doesn't go to games) because frankly he's clueless. Our support yesterday was large and made up of die hard fans - the club need us to stay behind them and to support them, there's no room for whingeing minnies because all they will achieve is to see us relegated. Before the season started i knew it'd be a struggle, **** me we were gash last last season, so to see the way we're progessing is a good sign. Stick with the lads and we'll survive and next season we'll bounce back up.
  25. We were very very unlucky yesterday. Not that the likes of Delldays and the other planks will be having any of it. And yes i was at the game. FFS we have some ****ing dickheads for fans.
