I agree with this. Lambert needs a workhorse to work alongside him.

I'm with you on this one, if they'd kept in contact and say come clean and said the whole thing made a loss and there's no money to pay you back that's one thing and the balls then in your court, but the way you've been treated (basically ignored and avoided) would make my my blood boil if it happened to me. I've been no angel in the past and have dealt with some right fly by nights, but i've always payed my way and expect others to do the same. Skanking bastards are my pet hate.

I went full of expectation and left with a big reality check. The first point is that Huddersfield were sh*t hot, really good team. Their centre forward (dunno his name) was big and strong and their tactic of releasing the ball down the centre of the pitch for him to hold up hurt us bad. Kelvin played a blinder as did Ricky Lambert, but we desperately need two centre halfs. We're ****ed if we don't get 2 centre half in.

I expect the event(s) did lose money. That's a shame but those who got off their arses certainly have my respect for doing something. I get the impression that certain posters will take delight in scoffing about Saints Aid making a loss, but it's not worth lowering yourself to the level of these sad individuals and giving them the attention they clearly lack in real life. These posters are the vocal minority (most Saints fans are decent people) and i'd warrant they have mental health issues because why else would they take pleasure in taking such a stance?

I believe Portvliet as he has no reason to lie. Wotte and Lowe made a good pair. Thank god they are both gone.

Rasiak played his part in our relegation. If he's not man enough to stick by us now then he can go **** himself. As Alan Pardew says we are a big club and it's not for him to pursuade players to stay. I agree. If Rasiak isn't 100% comitted then he's a hindrance to the team as a whole. Personally i think he's lazy and loves himself. A good player on his day, but he strikes me as being a mercenary. Lambert is a better player than Rasiak imo and he comes across as being more of a team player. We've signed him for £1 mil so Rasiak is not indespenseable, far from it.

I can't wait to go. I really fancy us to win this game. Come on everyone get your arses up to huddersfield.

Lambert by a country mile. Stern John is nothing but a second rate journeyman that never had class, Lambert on the other hand has been snapped up just approaching his prime.

Because of Rupert Lowe i stopped loving Saints. I wondered if i'd ever get back to how it used to be. But just a few weeks have gone and Lowe is already a distant memory. The spirit of Southampton has returned - we are a united club once more.

The Skates have always had a **** fanbase. They like to talk about the period just before and after WW2, but since their heyday they've been nothing. They're a noddy club that'll get between 8,000 and 12,000 once they're rooted back in the lower leagues.

I boycotted all last season. Admitedly i've not bought a season ticket but i've ordered 2 tickets for Brentford and that'll be first of many home games. If Rupert Lowe had still been in situ i would not have bothered.
