Anyone keeping an eye on Schneiderlin's twitter?
-
Good old Les Reed, he loves opening a can of worms and stirring it up on here, he loves to keep us guessing over the summer just for the laughs I reckon.
-
Plus it could be argued that Pellè could have claimed a hatrick away to West Ham, one goal scored, one wrongly disallowed and he got a touch to one of Schneiderlin's goals. Ultimately, the problem is the same with people moaning about Lambert last season. The expectations of what we can get from our centre forward are overly high. To get a Premier League striker that scores, holds the ball up, links play, has pace, is good in the air, presses from the front - how many strikers are out there that can do all that to a good level?
-
It's not worth a mention, because it's not relevant, their support was alright today. Spurs support is always good, better than most, lack a bit of identity if anything.

12+ months on after Lambert playing for us and the same wallys still don't get it .

So it's not the same, so not really relevant. -

Have any of those players come out and said they're looking forward to playing for Saints whilst employed by their previous clubs? -

That's spot on. No-one thinks players will never leave, but tis not too much to ask they show respect to their current employers. -

As with Schneiderlin, someone needs to have a word with the players about gobbing off in public, show a bit of respect to those currently paying their wages. -
Are you asking me?
-
The stick Lallana got did seem to affect him and was bad enough.
-
True, but I still hope Saturday doesn't have too much Pochettino related rubbish all game. Don't like the bloke, but the game shouldn't be about him.

Do you seriously think that people are complaining about S. Davis, because JWP is "local"? -
Gallagher on the bench against the North London Yobbos, please

I think Elia hasn't been great for us, but he's still a better option than anyone from the Under 21s. They'll have plenty of opportunities in pre-season for example to stake a further place in next season's squad. -

Based on one performance against such a Blackburn side? I'm sure Elia would have torn them to pieces if playing, its not the basis for team selection for such an important end of season game. -

Who would you drop from the current match day squad? -
I really enjoyed that, good battle and lots of good performances. Not sure what sort of quality that Blackburn team really were though.
-
I'd agree with most of that, although I'd have Clyne down as a "hit", Gardos as a "miss" and Djuricic has been injured making it hard to make a clear judgement on him.
-
I fully expect Forster to remain No.1, I think Koeman might have even stated this will be the case.

Koeman has done a bit more than just OK hasn't he.
