Why would it cost more than £6m to replace him as we only bought him for £1m?

We have to look for a top class replacement to Lambert soon enough anyway, he won't play on forever. For what it's worth I'd keep him.

Agree with all that and Sinclair has had the same problem every time I've seen him. Also agree with your assessment of JWP, which makes it even more worrying that he came on for the first team when we were pushing for a goal on Saturday.

I agree with much of what you say. I think Ramirez has bags of talent. and likely to play better with a few seasons under his belt (and a team set-up to play to his strengths), but that doesn't mean we can't comment of how he or Lallana has played this season. We're paying an absolute fortune for him - it's naive too just shrug our shoulders and say "wait for next year".

Well why has it taken him so long to get a game for the Under 21s if he has been in such need of match practice?

Should have brought Mayuka on with 10mins to go on Sat, with Lambert dropping in behind him. Would have pulled their centre backs out of place, Mayuka could have run onto Lambert's flicks or threaded through balls. Would at least have been a different test for the QPR defence.

There is having time to adapt, you expect that with any player from abroad, but for £3.5m I think most expected at least some sort of impact this season. How long should we expect to wait?

Nothing to do with. Our side has hardly played much football this season. No cup runs, plenty of 2 week breaks.

The OP is right though. Things weren't working on Saturday, the option of pace behind thier defence was needed and would have been interesting to see Mayuka on for Lambert for the last 10mins or so.

It shouldn't really be a problem. We only seem to play a few games each month this season. Personally I don't think Richardson is all that vadodara and he is better than Clyne at bombing onto the bye-line to wip in crosses to Lambert. Regarding left back, we do have a problem - do we buy a new first choice LB, and allow Shaw to develop slowly. Or try and find someone better than Fox, but is happy to be an under-study to a 17 year old kid. Can't think there are too many players that fit into that bracket.

Spot on analysis as usual. Cork was excellent, Fonte and Rodriguez decent and that's about it. S**t atmosphere as well apart from.a ton of songs about Redknapp at the start. Redknapp's tactics got the better of MP, we look devoid of ideas how to break them down.

I reckon Shaw is out. Fox will be fine if we play well as a team and control the game, which I think we will.

He may have been naive, but I guess he didn't know what he was getting himself into. Chelsea should have stuck with AVB, but that was the fault of their senior players.

That must apply to most pubs around football grounds up and down the country. Can't see how that pub isn't a viable business. Probably not helped with how few home games we've had this season.

More pubs have closed in the vicinity of the ground then opened since we've moved to St Marys, despite most being under the impression it'd be a boost to the local economy. Someone should be able to make a profit out of the King Alfred at least.
