  1. No I certainly would not agree. If I or anyone else lent our season ticket to a mate which happens thousands of times each season and it was blocked, we'd be fuming the same as Le Tiss. But then you agree with someone saying that Le Tiss is a c**t which speaks volumes about you as a Saints fan.
  2. It was a fairly obvious point to the post I was replying to, but if you're incapable of comprehending that you might as well ride on.
  3. Having his season ticket blocked? Turning up at events and having Saints staff keep away from him. Or you think Tiss is lying? He's hardly known for being a trouble maker or someone that goes looking for confrontation is he?
  4. What if Cortese won't meet or speak with him?
  5. Please tell me you're joking? Le Tiss obviously cares massively about the club still and you can tell how gutted he is to be ostracised by the club, can anyone blame him for feeling p****d off? A lot of Saints fans didn't deserve a player of his class at our club, calling him a 'c**t' is disgusting.
  6. Agree with all that, except I don't think Ramirez will be quite ready/settled to start against Arsenal. Cameo off the bench for the last 20mins or so I reckon.
  7. Would be a cracking team to watch, but we're never going to go into games with that much of an attacking line up, unless we really felt that Puncheon and Lallana could get a load of defensive midfield work done.
  8. Not about looking at the "good old days", just realiing there is a lot more to football than how much money you can drag in as an international brand.
  9. True, but some of our fans seem almost too excited to embrace this aspect of the modern game, same way they're so keen to get rid of players that have served us well asap and are happy to write off aspects of our history such as MLT (separate debate I know) - as long as we're in the Prem nothing else seems to matter unfortunately.
  10. Why would anyone care about building a brand abroad? Some of our fans seem so keen to jump on the corporate, money grabing band-wagon of the Premier League.
  11. I was critical of Fonte at times last season, but he really hasn't been that bad so far this season. He's been on a par with Hooiveld, so I assume those that want rid of Fonte also want rid of him?
  12. I'll obviously wait until he's got plenty of game time under his belt for us before making any judgement, but I do feel that CB is the one position we didn't want to take any sort of gamble. We could have done with a solid, dependable, late 20s CB who has done it in the Prem, if we'd brought Yoshida in on top of that, then it would make sense.
  13. Well Ramirez isn't going to play in centre-mid and probably won't start at Arsenal. Can't see any of our new signings starting to be honest, just haven't had enough time to train and settle with the squad due to the international games.
  14. Had the bloody tune in my head since the game, very catchy/annoying (delete as applicable).
  15. Our scouting network, bit of agent input, Les Reed I'd guess. I'd imagine all the Del Piero interest came from NC as well.
  16. I also watched the game back and although didn't do the statistical analysis you've done, came to the same conclusions. Scholes had very little effect when he first came on and even their goals at the end can't really be attributed to him too much.
  17. No, Sharp was ahead as a striker of all of them except Lambert. Of course Adkins has first choice players. Who is our first choice keeper? Or right back?
  18. He wasn't 5th choice striker though was he?
  19. Yoshida, Ramirez and Mayuka were all Cortese signings. As you say, doesn't mean they won't be good players though.
  20. How has Le Tissier actually disrupted the club? He hasn't. He's had a bit of a moan when maybe he shouldn't and that's about it.
  21. Giving you the benefit of the doubt that Le Tissier did all this, what has he disrupted by doing so? Le Tiss is hardly famed for having an attitude or picking fights with people is he? Seems pretty well liked throughout the game and media.
  22. Was thinking the same. Didn't want to nick yet another song off them, but it does work, "Oooohhh Gaston Ramirez"
  23. If he hadn't even trained with the squad and was only back in the country for 24hrs after flying half way round the world, then yes I'd start him on the bench. Everyone, including the player himself, would be well aware he'll be first choice going forward though.
  24. Same line-up and formation as the United game, but with Yoshida on the bench in place of Seaborne, Ramirez on the bench instead of Lee and hopefully fitness depending Cork on the bench instead of Do Prado.
  25. Took off well to be fair and is probably the best song for him. Interesting watching his interview after the United game talking about how important the crowd's support is for him/the team.
