  1. Can see us losing this. Very tough draw, tough place to go.
  2. The point is the only cover we have for our very shaky left-back is our right back. Not how a sqaud should be set up. No-one pretend Hading was Premier League standard, but we've held onto Fox and he isn't either.
  3. Yes, I believe it is included in our new Fan's Charter soon to be released.
  4. What's that got to do with the FSF and Supporter's Charters?
  5. We should have held onto Dan Harding really. At least until we were sure we had solid back-up at left-back.
  6. See, this is where I reckon a lot of football clubs are stupid with their sale and return policy. Everton haven't sold out their other sections yet from what I could see and we could certainly sell more this week and a fair handful on the day perhaps, yet they'll now only get 1.8k tickets worth of cash out of us. Heard we've done the same for Fulham when they come down to us, they've already sold out their 1.8k, but aren't taking the full 3k as the rest are on sale/no return basis.
  7. The game will be played on Wednesday the 31st as we're at home to Spurs on the Sunday before.
  8. How can anyone be against the FSF?
  9. The more I think about it the more I like the idea of Yoshida left back, Richardson right back, with Clyne right midfield offering support against Baines & Pienaar, with his pace an attacking threat. Would be a defensive line up that is strong in the air which will be vital against Everton.
  10. Brilliant quote from Kelvin Davis that. Exactly what you want from your club captain, class.
  11. I'd agree with that defensively. Hooiveld to deal with Fellaini hopefully. Think we might line up a bit more defensively in Midfield though. Edit: Just re-read that. Not sure about Richardson right mid, but I do see the logic. Baines & Pienaar love getting 2 on 1 down their left, its a massive threat and our right back needs plenty of support.
  12. Right, good to see you think JWP, Cork, Gazzaniga, Rodriquez are classed as "reserves". Just for your information, they are all very key members of our first team squad this season, I'm in no doubt Adkins would tell you that.
  13. Just so we have this clear, can you confirm that you believe QPR is as appealing a fixture for Saints fans as a game against Newcastle or Everton? Yes or no?
  14. Not being one of the "First XI" and being a "reserve" are two different things. I wouldn't class the likes of Gazzaniga, Rodriquez, Richardson, Cork, Guly and JWP "reserves", would you?
  15. Are we sure it has sold out? Club hasn't announced anything and I'd never entirely trust our ticket website. Might be worth giving the club a quick call in the morning.
  16. No, you are still wrong. Go back and read your own original posts.
  17. Seaborne needs to play, on the basis we're currently one injury/suspension away from using him in the Prem needs to be up to match fitness. Might give Richardson a run out as well. Midfield of Cork, JWP, Chaplow and Guly should be decent. Absolutely loads of options up-front. Can't call the keeper situation at all so will be interesting to see what they go for.
  18. You're wrong it hasn't. Interest in games against QPR is similar to fixtures with Reading.
  19. You're not in the same category as Newcastle and Everton. You're in the same category as Reading. Just saying.
  20. Playing in that 'Number 10' role, how much defensive work are you realistically expecting him to do?
  21. Anyone think we possibly had the deliberate tactic of allowing oppossing teams room out wide? Fear of intricate balls/pace through the middle and a belief in our two CBs ability in the air? Just a guess. Agree re the above on JWP and S Davis being too similar. Still lack balance in midfield.
  22. It wasn't until Lambert went off and Rodriguez came on that we conceded more than one goal against Man Utd. It was our midfield that didn't work more than anything else against Arsenal.
  23. I'd watch that Man City game back again if I was you. City created even more chances than Arsenal, the only thing that stopped City scoring six or more was their woeful finishing.
  24. True, but that's more the fault of our midfield being anonymous against Arsenal than much to do with Lambert.
  25. The whole set up points towards having Mayuka or Rodriguez as our central forward instead of Lambert. Just think we might be trying to change too much too quickly with the way we play.
