Agreed. I've been critical of various members of our defence for a while, but some of the criticism is unfair. We lost Saturday's game in midfield . It was where we'd been really strong against Man Utd, but were as good as anonymous against Arsenal. JWP and S. Davis are too similar in my eyes as well.

No, not yet.
-
True. Didn't think much of the view either.
-
Today was embarrassing. I've done every Arsenal away for over 30 years, that was the worst.
-
Clyne got skinned plenty.
-
One of the problems, but at least we've got Mayuka .. forget defending......
-
Said at 2-0 down that's Adkins gone. Really hope I'm.wrong but we were ****.
-
Great article, absolute class player.

Get a cab. Often have no choice but to walk it back though.
-
As it happened, a load of us were. Met up in the bar at the ground with the plan of going on a pub crawl into town from there, ended up not leaving until 5 mins before kick off. Only got bits of news filtering through and the debate as to whether the game would/should be called off.

Being pedantic back, the headline doesn't say he praises Nigel Adkins.
-
What is your actual point then?

Depends if you believe this http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-19507065

I'm in the "Pro-Guly" camp, but if Cork is back fit and Ramirez is in the squad, I can't see how he'll make the squad. Unless Adkins feel that Cork could cover the Richardson role as well on the bench (being a midfield and right back option), which might still allow a place for Guly.

Yeah I know full allocation is 3k, but sometimes when the club put out these releases, they make it clear if additional tickets can become available or not. Reckon we might actually sell out the 1.8k.
-
Yes can move between them. Does this mean we're not taking the full allocation that includes the upper tier?

Don't have the direct quote to hand, but think Tiss has said in the past that the way he was treated by England (scoring a hatrick and hitting the woodwork for England B, then not getting picked) made him lose some of his enthusiasm for football and took away one of the things he'd always been working towards in the game. Always going to have a detrimental effect on anyone.
-
Agree with most of that except what I've highlighted. I reckon Arsenal have probably the best midfield in the country right now, will be very, very tough for us to control it.
-
Doesn't make for a great competition though. That's my only real criticism of the Paras, a lot of the events I've seen have been very one-sided.

I agree, I'd rather he didn't stick stuff up on twitter. However as I asked earlier in the thread surely you can tell that something has happened to make Le Tiss feel genuinely gutted with the way he's been treated by Saints? Has he got history of picking arguments? Is he often picking fights for petty reasons? He's a popular, well liked bloke famed for being easy going. This isn't a Joey Barton or Stan Collymore character we're talking about here. You can clearly tell he cares a lot about the club and is genuinely gutted that it has ostracised him.

I can't imagine any other club in the footballing world having so little respect for their greatest footballing hero as is shown towards Le Tiss these days. Not sure if we deserved his loyalty for all those years.
-
Northern Italy has rotten winters, worse than ours. More the overall culture difference from a latin/southern european country would make more difference if anyting.
-
Yet another one that seems to hate Le Tiss. Clearly not a Saints fan.
-
What was 'complete bull shyt'? For what its worth I'd rather he didn't stick this up on the twitter, but the bloke is obviously gutted about the way the club he clearly loves now treats him.
