What exactly has it got to do with a Tory Government?
-
I'm well aware of what happened in the early 80s - but mods and rockers, Teddy Boys in the '50s, nothing like it. And describing it as a "right of passage" f***s sake, so stupid its not even funny.
-
What's been happening the last couple of days is in a whole different league to anything any of those you mentioned did. I'm just trying to read this again - "it's just a right of passage" - I assume you do have a tv? A right of passage, f*****g hell
-
Not really. No surprise that a certain part of the "community" in that part of London is playing up again, whereas 99% of the rest of us get on with our lives working as hard as we can etc. Absolutely dire area, should nuke the whole lot.

Saints 3 - 1 Leeds, Post Match Celebration
Sour Mash replied to Cascadia Saint's topic in The Saints
Excellent performance and a great way to start the season. Only points would be, not a huge fan of Guly in general and particularly not out wide right. Also, that is clearly a Leeds side going through some problems at the moment, could tell by the reactions of players and fans. We'll have much tougher tests over the season. -
You better get used to it - yesterday wasn't too muc different to any game we play, you're not going to change it and obviously a large number of those that sing are more than happy to let the world know what we think of the skates - particularly with the game being live on sky. What did p**s me off yesterday about our support, is when the final whistle was blown and the players turned around to applaud the support, there'd have seen the Saints sections half full, with people streaming out as quickly as possible, whereas the Leeds section pretty much packed full still showin their support to their side. Why not hang around to clap the lads off after a game like that?

Looked decent, but against a very, very average Leeds front line. Good signs of potenital, but we can't say too much more yet.
-
Decent crowd to be fair, a winning team will walways bring them in. Was it just me that felt the 5.20 k.o helped? I actually prefer it to the normal 3pm.
-
Look at Leeds at ours today to see a marker of good away support - not at the loudest today, but big numbers, all stood as always and stuck around until the end, I'd have f****d off early if I was them. A late kick off and a few hours travelling didn't seem to effect them too much.
-
This. They look like a shoddy, 2nd rate, skate firm - can't see them getting a penny of my money.
-
No chance. We will have sold a few hundred by now. Just depends whichever book of tickets they've picked up to send out at a particular time. I know of more than 13 people that already have their tickets for this.
-
No you haven't - you've posted on this thread numerous times already.
-
The problem with the comparison is how many variables there are. It's not even any good looking at how cheap the cheapest tickets are, as there might be only 500 tickets at that price each game which are sold out long ago - the official stats will show it's really cheap, but in practice, for a lot of fans the cost will be much higher.
-
Yes! Because that's exactly what its like!
-
Not really - fairly different "scene" in Hoxton/Shoreditch to Camden. Re. Camden - lots of good pubs for an evening on the beer, Oxford Arms and Elephant's Head my personal favourites. Don't rate Camden Market at all, sells rubbish tat and over-priced fast food under the guise of it being either "ethnic" or "alternative".
-
He's got a bit of a point though. For various reasons some people only buy (or can buy) one ticket at a time - the current set-up hardly encourages them to attend if they're waivering.

Hammond/Barnard/Dickson/Chamberlain all missing today
Sour Mash replied to Odiham saint's topic in The Saints
Agreed, I prefer Dickson as well, still think that position is undecided. -
What's your point?
-
There is a season review dvd out. I know someone who bought one from the club shop before the ML tournament, something like £16.
-
West Ham being midweek and likely to be pricey will knock a fair few off that one, other London ones will be popular although we never take many to Millwall, Pompey and Brighton will be popular, but the other one's you list won't come anywhere near to selling out unless we get an unusually small allocation.
-
SHouldn't be and if it is, easy enough to get around.
-
Ha, we do have an unbelievably high number of such cretins!
-
At your age you should really be able to take a bit of banter better than that.
-
It won't sell out, neither will Ipswich, neither will Reading if we're given the full allocation. While bored I had a look through a few other Championship club's websites and I think we've got to expect to be pay around the £30 mark for most away games, not good.
-
Agree that was "Nice" for a change, but dare I say made home games a bit boring at times? Trying to think of highlights of the season and the vast majority of home matches just merge into one. Guess its how a lot of Man Utd or Chelsea fans feel after a while.
