Did The Debt Increase In The Lowe and Wilde Year Then?
Foxstone replied to St Marco's topic in The Saints
For the purposes of this thread Ponty's answer was correct. However I agree with Minty - It does'nt matter right now. Its saving the club that matters -
Wotte has been one of the very, very few shining lights this season. If he saves us from relegation it will be a minor miracle as sadly I think he came to the post too late ! He must stay !
-
I went when Lowe was here for the first time, when Wilde was there, when Hone was there, when Crouch was there and when Lowe returned again.. All of them have played their part in sending this club into a downward spiral and I dislike and don't regard any of them as capable stewards of our club. But the club, the players and the supporters are bigger than any one individual and I was never going to let any of them stop me from doing what gives me pleasure. IE: SUPPORTING SAINTS FC.

Not necessarily in denial I would suggest, but like me they blame him and a whole host of others for our downfall.. It's a succession of idiots we have had the misfortune to have been saddled thats led to this unholy mess. Askham, Redknapp, Hone, Crouch and most of all Wilde have more than played their part in taking us to where we are today.. Not just Lowe. Quite what we as a club have done to deserve the stewardship of so many idiots is beyond comprehension.

Brilliant - A strategy built on sand, weasel words and a token COYR.. His tactical and business acumen astounds me..
-
As long as its not that ridiculous " Lets Go Wilde" slogan that appeared in the clubshop soon after his arrival !
-
On this day of all days I think it is only right that we also acknowledge the contribution ( or lack of it) of that twitchy barrowboy 'Arry to our downfall !
-
I doubt that he has 7 Jersey pounds ! The man is a fantacist gumby and a skint one at that !

As Chairman Of The Football Board Does That Leave Wilde In Charge
Foxstone replied to Gemmel's topic in The Saints

Well he's hardly Fred The Shred but he has just experienced at first hand that old stockbroking caveat - " The value of your shares can go down aswell as go up " As Jim Bowen would say " Thats the gamble - just see what you could have won" !
-
Mike "COYR" Wilde was the idiot selling himself in 2006 as the "evolution not revolution" saviour who would take us to a whole new world.. Well since he appeared on the scene he certainly has took us to a whole new world but not the world we fans hoped for back then !
-
The way we are playing now as a co-hesive unit, with skill and with pride I think is down to Wotte and his staff. Even if we go down now, I would perhaps more credit that with Wotte being left with too much to do to save us rather than any short-comings on his part. I would be prepared to stick with him for at least the remainder of this season and next regardless of what division we are in.

Yes No No No In the words of Yazz - "The only way is up " !
-
It is indeed part of the RBS Group. However I guess that with the RBS brand name being in the gutter at the moment, they are using the NatWest name again.
-
Could not agree more... Protest against the board by all means but I would encourage everybody to give 100% support to Wotte and his team at this time. He is after all doing a good job whether you like him or not and right now thats all that matters.
-
I thought she was pretty foxy in a "Margot Leadbetter sort of way" !
-
Is she the lady sitting with the chap in the advert who were described by the NatWest advisor as being asset rich and cash poor ?
-
Agree with that ! Added to the fact that Euell has played ( and played well) for Wotte when Rasiak probably does'nt even know him - Why risk a personality/system clash !
-
The "available" English managers -would you have them now?
Foxstone replied to NickG's topic in The Saints
Would feel loathe to change the manager again at this time, especially as he seems to be delivering squad harmony, motivation, direction and indeed results... Might be tempted with Ince though.. -
I am pleased to not read those dreaded words from the Tractorboys site.. "Too good to go down".. Its all a great read and Its a fantastic start for Wotte but please god no complacency.
-
I hope not ! I think most Saints fans are able to dis-associate the two, they did with Strachan once he started to succeed after early fears.
-
I like that though ! It indicates to me that he is quietly confident and it also commands some respect with his charges too I suspect.
-
Correct. If we stay up ALL the credit will go to Wotte, his staff and the team. None due to any board member past or present.
-
We are most certainly not out of the mire by any stretch of the imagination. However, there is a togetherness and purpose under Wotte that had been totally lacking for the entire season thus far , and that at least now gives us a fighting chance. My compliments to Wotte on his work so far - Please please keep it going.
