  1. Bit of a crazy overreaction to a tweet from Alex Crook of all people. I certainly don't want Tonda to get the job full time but I have no problem with keeping him in interim charge for a bit longer. Fact is there are no outstanding candidates out there at the moment so whoever they appointed would probably be a bit meh and not unite the fanbase. There will no doubt be plenty of managerial movement in the next few weeks, so why not hold fire and see if some more desirable candidates become available? It's clear TE was being groomed to be Still's long term replacement but it's not the right time to give him the job currently and I suspect they realise that, regardless of how highly they rate him.
  2. No, stop being a miserable git. Unless it's GON, then we'll just give him the wanker sign.
  3. As did Redknapp. I assume you'd have him back too.
  4. Redknapp situation was different as it felt like we were really rubbing their noses in it at the time. However in hindsight it was a terrible mistake which led to us being humiliated. Crouch only played one season there, JWP never played for them and joined Saints at the age of 7. They're just not comparable. Facts are GON came through their academy, played hundreds of games for them over a number of years and has professed his love for them since. He's a skate through and through, he doesn't belong here. Aside from that, he's a pretty crap manager.
  5. It blows my mind that so many people on here are seemingly fine with appointing that skate cunt. Especially when the same people are so anti Russell Martin. Unfortunately I'm a season ticket holder so can't boycott but I would be giving him shit from the off. He's not welcome. Aside from being a full on skate, he's a poor manager who plays turgid football. He didn't return to Wolves because their fans were as much against re-appointing him as ours are about getting Martin back. They hate him. This would be the last straw for me as far as SR are concerned. Surely they're not that stupid.
  6. Lol, read again. I didn't say all our problems were down to immigration. I was responding to the point that Farage would divide the country, as if we're not already divided. Throwing loads of different cultures with different values into our society without our consent, changing the makeup of the country forever, has divided us. Even your hero Starmer admitted we're becoming an island of strangers (we already are).
  7. The mass immigration and influx of different cultures over the last couple of decades whilst the native population are told to suck it up, has done this, not Nigel Farage.
  8. I think people are starting to over analyse everything he does. He really didn't do much wrong last night. Put himself about pressing the defenders and goalkeeper, helping out defensively with one good clearance in particular. It's not his fault that he's getting zero service going forward. The one chance he might have had, Azaz completely fucked it up. Tbh, all things considered Azaz has been at least as bad as Downs, if not worse considering he's an experienced Championship player, yet Downs gets all the flack. I'd give him a start on Saturday. It has to be better than watching Armstrong as the lone striker doing nothing.
  9. Shame, was really looking forward to this but I'm gonna hold off a while until it's (hopefully) fixed.
  10. Not only is O'Neil a skate cunt, he's also a shit manager. Have a look at what Wolves fans think of him. I think I'd be done with Saints if we appointed him.
  11. Wow, first time I've smiled at anything Saints related in forever! Just what we need on and off the pitch. Just hope his legs are still up to it, but his leadership alone makes this a cracking signing. Very happy
  12. Yet you wanted to keep Still, who's football was ten times worse?
  13. Agree with this, if we could tempt him away from Bristol City. Get Ralph in too in some sort of advisory role. Struber even got Downs firing!
  14. That's literally what's been happening. The Matty Fernandes song is now the Leo Scienza song. Fits well.
  15. All of them. Get the numbers down.
  16. If only we would do the same.
  17. Lol, how many kids and elderly are coming over on the boats? The vast majority are young men. If any of them don't like the idea of being separated from the public while their applications are processed, then don't come here. We give them free accommodation, food and essentials. If that's so horrible, then bloody stay where you are. Why is it ok for the public to be subjected to these potential scumbags but not their fellow illegals? If that's what international law says then it needs to be urgently rewritten and we need to ignore it, because it's trash. You cannot decide to just enter a country illegally and have the freedom to wander around as you please, that's madness. And I actually agree with you that it's almost impossible to determine how much of a risk someone is, which is why I personally wouldn't let any of them stay. Tow the boats back out to the middle of the channel. Make it clear that if you attempt to come over on a boat you will never be granted asylum in this country and will be deported asap. Make it as unattractive as possible to come here. Won't happen because this country is soft as shit.
  18. WTF? Are you seriously saying that people who come here illegally (clue is in the name) should just be given the freedom to roam around as they please, and if any of them are a danger then oh well, we have dangerous natives too? Ridiculous soft arsed attitudes like this are exactly why they keep coming over. A government's main responsibility is to keep it's own people safe, and if that means holding these people in a secure area away from the public until we can determine whether they should be here or not and what risk they pose, then that's what we should be doing.
  19. They certainly should be detained until they're either granted or refused asylum. Some of them are bloody dangerous, and they shouldn't be allowed to just wander about and potentially disappear.
  20. Whilst Sports Republic have clearly been a disaster, I find it hard to turn against Dragan specifically as I genuinely believe he cares and has good intentions. If he sells up, there's every chance we could end up with someone worse.
  21. Stephens for Scienza, when we already had three centre backs on the pitch, is the worst substitution I've ever seen. Still should be sacked for that alone. Absolute shambles of a performance against a really poor team.
  22. Tbf it sounds very similar to this forum. Moaning about the manager, owners, lack of fan action etc...
  23. They both need sorting. At least in the 95% we have a fair idea of who we're letting in. With the boat people we have no clue, and as we've seen already in multiple cases, plenty of them are scum who pose a threat to the people in this country.
  24. Not all, but some of them absolutely. Yes. If you're a biological male, you use a men's space. It's mostly pretty obvious. Not suggesting you have police stood outside toilets checking though. As with anything there has to be a degree of self policing. I don't know, but that's not the point is it. A lesbian woman is entitled to use a women's bathroom just as a gay man should use the men's bathroom. Well as Turkish said of course they're more likely to be assaulted by a man than a trans woman, just due to the numbers. No one is suggesting all trans women are a danger to women, but some are and they simply should not be allowed into women's spaces. Otherwise why have gender segregated spaces at all? I really can't believe some people think it's controversial to suggest biological men should not be using women's spaces, but this is where the world is at in 2025.
  25. Absolutely this, it's so glaringly obvious. We have some technically good footballers, but they're all small and weak, and we constantly get bullied. There are no bigger players around them to protect them. The annoying thing is, Spors actually identified that as something he wanted to address in the window...and then didn't. We signed Quarshie who is much more of an athlete, albeit raw. But then almost all our other signings were more of the same. Small, technical players but with no physical presence. Even Downs who is a bigger guy looks incredibly weak and timid. Until we properly address this, I can't see much changing and it's been like this for years. We haven't had a proper beast in our team since Wanyama.
