  1. The bogs at the Dell were horrendous. I don't think I saw any new toilet paper in them since the 1980s. I remember going into the bogs on a saturday afternoon years ago at the Dell where there had been torrential rain all morning and the whole toilets were under about 2 feet of diluted urine with floating turds on top
  2. Not really when the Luton directors faced 50 different charges and were deducted 10 points in relation to these, and Storrie (of who I believe is the only court case that relates to PFC) faces 2 charges
  3. I thought Mandaric's and 'arry's court cases were personal things and not related to PFC
  4. We don't hate them, they hate us and they don't even know why they hate us
  5. Germinal Beerschot in the Belgian league actually have a defender called Mark De Man

  7. and it's all so much better in the UK where (of the reported rapes) the rape conviction rate is 6%, and they estimate 95% of rapes aren't even reported Christ almighty. . .
  8. You beat me to it. The Prodigy's Always Outnumbered Never Outgunned I was very disappointed with
  9. Saved even more than I thought as I didn't realise they'd included the tax. I've actually saved £93 Just by ringing up and haggling Admiral and making sure my mileage is accurate, they have reduced my insurance by 20% and knocked £100 off my voluntary excess
  10. No wonder people start threads on here with their personal account queries
  11. That's the other strange thing, half their squad appears to be defenders. At best their leaving it late.
  12. I expect so, but at the moment it's looking like it's going to be an increasingly difficult task to do that year by year. Currently I don't think their squad is as strong as it was last year and it is starting to age.
  13. Another point is according to wikipedia they have a squad of 15 players if you take away the youngsters. 7 of those 15 players are 30 or over, and in 14 months time that will go up to 10. (Rocha, Mokoena, Hreidarsson, Lawrence, Mullins, Varney, Kitson, Norris, Ben-Haim and Kanu) That squad is starting to age. It really doesn't look too good for them long term.

  15. I suspect Pompey will sign him on loan for the season
  16. one of the biggest tricks is when they unplug their brake lights and brake test someone where there isn't CCTV. Of course if you don't see red lights from the car in front you will not think for one minute the car in front of you is slowing down until you know you're going to hit it Then before all the contradictory statements get investigated they plug them back in again
  17. Because anyone or any company who exchange goods or a service for money has to state this. The crux of the issue here is the camera is outside of the warranty period, and is 15 months reasonable? Personally I don't think it is THAT unreasonable. Besides if we're detailing with a retailer the OP has a right not to be fobbed off to the manufacturer, and should only be merely advised to do this if it is logistically more efficient that is to the customer's benefit. At the end of the day though it's a product that has been returned outside of the warranty period and I wonder if by offering an "extended warranty" in the instructions for a fee they cover their backs from the EU, when the camera was purchased. If it's a reseller, I don't believe their even under any obligation to provide any sort of warranty full stop, and they'll be covered by the manufacturer. Your essentially buying from the manufacturer through a company that can sell the product a lot more effectively than the manufacturer themselves
  18. I've used the example of Ebuyer as they are openly stating you should return any faulty goods (outside a 30 day period) under a year old to the manufacturer and not them. As a reseller they are perfectly entitled to do that because they are essentially selling someone else's goods for them, and it is logistically the quickest and most efficient way of dealing with faulty products. Why return something to a shop that will have to return it to the manufacturer anyway when you yourself can just return it to the manufacturer? Besides ebuyer would be getting tens of thousands of complaints every week if there was anything wrong with it.
  19. That's assuming it is a retailer and not a reseller. Big difference. Ebuyer for example, openly state you should return any faulty goods within a year old directly to the manufacturer http://www.ebuyer.com/help/returns
  20. Nope, I'm afraid PFC is pretty much right on this one Whilst I don't know the precise ins and outs of it, the directors of Luton faced 50 separate charges involving irregular payments and they were deducted 10 points as a result of being found guilty on some or all of them. (The rest of the points deduction was related to failing to agree a CVA which Pompey has done) Storrie is facing 2 charges. At worst they'll get a 50 quid fine which they'll pay 5p in the pound over 5 years As for the forensic investigation, that's where it gets interesting
  21. If their acting as resellers they might be able to get away with that, as they'll have absolutely 0 facilities to deal with repairs/faults and will direct any faults/maintenance issues to the manufacturer, thus cutting the middle man (them) out If the camera had failed within 12 months it's likely that you'd have just had to send it back to Samsung and they'd have replaced it FOC. As for reasonable time periods I'm not sure on this but I'm guessing this is why it comes with a warranty. . .
  22. Have you contacted Samsung? Retailers often refer customers to the manufacturer for all returns queries
  23. If they don't say something along the lines of "The tricks performed in this show are down to showmanship, misdirection bla bla bla and no actors or stooges are ever used" at the beginning of the show, it basically means they use actors/stooges in every trick
  24. something sounds a bit fishy to me
  25. I think England are going to suffer as a footballing nation in the near decades. The current generation on paper is one of the best squads in the world, the problem is money has got to their heads and hardly any of them can give a toss about playing for England. All they care about is earning 100 grand+ a week. Now that this generation is ageing the youngsters coming through in the main aren't good enough. Compare us with Spain and a lot of the Latin American countries and it's becoming a gulf in class. Anyone else see that Audi cup featuring Barcelona, Bayern Munich, Internacional and AC Milan? Bayern, Internacional and AC Milan were putting out almost their first teams and Barce still won it with their B team
