The FA have been managing the England team since Sven took over, if not before. All the England manager 'manages' now is the PR and the training sessions. Chaplow's an odd one. Against Man Utd he produced one of the best performances from a CM I have ever seen in my time supporting Saints, it was up there with Marsden at his best. No team doesn't play their best players in important games because they 'might' get injured. That makes having better players pointless. Why don't we just play the reserve team in that case? Until Lallana and AOC fully recover from their injuries and are back to a good standard of fitness, leave them out. Should we try and rush them back? no we certainly should not, and NA will have to make the best use of the squad whilst they recover. But as soon as their back up to full fitness and fully recovered let's use what we have at our disposal to push for automatic promotion as we are currently in a better position than our rivals barring Brighton. Besides if we have to go up through the play-offs that means we have to play 3 more games, and that's more opportunities for players to get injured. . .
