Prince Harry admits to killing Taliban
Saint in Paradise replied to Thedelldays's topic in The Lounge
You UK taxpayers should be pleased he is shooting at the Taliban. Think how much his training has cost you lot. In case anyone thinks I am anti Harry I am NOT I have the highest regard for him and the other young lads risking their lives and as for throwing 5000 soldiers out - absolute madness. -
No point as that is the lot who believed that pimpey cause 300 million pounds to enter the local area every year.

According to Sky sport Brian Howard was shown a list of players they wanted to sign. "When I signed they showed me a list of players who they wanted to bring in if they got the budget they wanted. I knew a couple of them so I texted and phoned a few of them and they said yeah, it's a great club if it gets taken over and we all go there then it will be great. But obviously the opportunities did not come, the buy-out did not happen and the money was not available" Wonder who they were? Messi must have been one?

Apart from a big THANK YOU Nigel I am a bit lost for words - not good news to wake up to. When your next team plays Saints that will be only the first time (and last time) ever that I want Saints to lose.

There is some evidence that anti-depressant drugs are linked to shootings.

Is this the new Chinese labor force? No wonder they can undercut the competition. This is remarkable. Apparently, it is not this kid's first day on the job! http://static.video.qq.com/TPout.swf?auto=1&vid=r010673xh67 Nothing out of the ordinary happens so if you don't watch the whole thing you won't miss anything.

Travellers 'worried' by Boeing787 glitches
Saint in Paradise replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
And there is more:- Well these airlines appear a bit concerned, think of the money they will lose and maybe future passengers. Airlines do not take this action lightly. TOKYO (AP) -- Japan's transport ministry says Boeing 787 planes are being grounded for safety checks in the latest blow for the new passenger jet. The ministry said Wednesday it got notices from ANA, which operates 17 of the jets, and Japan Airlines which has 7, that all their 787 aircraft will not be flying. http://nz.totaltravel.yahoo.com/news-opinions/news/a/-/15851384/boeing-787-jets-in-japan-grounded/ -
Travellers 'worried' by Boeing787 glitches
Saint in Paradise replied to Saint in Paradise's topic in The Lounge
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-21038128 A Boeing 787 aircraft operated by All Nippon Airways (ANA) has made an emergency landing at Takamatsu airport after a battery malfunction. Also read this thread? http://www.pprune.org/rumours-news/504572-another-787-electrical-smoke-incident-ground.html Usually I am in the "If it ain't Boeing I ain't going" camp but not so keen on the 787 at the moment. -
http://travel.msn.co.nz/travelnews/8593856/travellers-worried-by-boeing-glitches People should be very concerned about the batteries it has on board more than fuel leaks or the carbon fibre used in the fusleage. The same type of batteries as in lap-tops etc because if they burst in flame they are extremely difficult to control,( some say impossible ) - see u-tube videos. In the 787 they are placed where they will cause major problems if they catch fire.

Saint in Paradise replied to Sheaf Saint's topic in The Lounge
As I read that article he was jailed for using a passport which was not his so don't quite see how he could be accused of being an illegal in the UK?. The US? Yes he was there and was very lucky he got back to the UK. -
Ah that means all the wives have finally given their permission then, bet it will come out of the blokes pocket money though.

I heard a rumour the other day that Marks and Spencer are also having financial problems with only the food side keeping them afloat. Surely this can't be true??

When I went to all of the schools I attended I had to walk as we didn't have a car and no suitable buses. Pinegrove Rd to Sholing infants and then juniors. Secondary school was Woolston Sec Mixed in Portsmouth Road. Oh yes and I always came home for lunch and then walked back for the afternoon shift.

^This^ But I think another reason for all these delays and postponements is to make sure they keep going until after I peg out so I won't have the pleasure of seeing the final outcome.

What I would enjoy ( But it won't happen ) is:- Judge, Have you reached an agreement people? Answer, No sorry judge not yet. Judge, Ok Mr Birch you had better liquidate them this afternoon, Next case please.
