I think the problem is the players and possibly manager thought they had cracked it. We are only any good if everyone is fighting for every ball. At least the smart fuckers who blame the fans for making St Mary’s a bad place to play can’t bloody blame us this time.

I know people are saying 4 million euros - it’s cheap, its cheap, but is it ? He’s made 70 appearances for us since 2016, I bet no more than 20 are the full 90 minutes and he’s been out on loan to a club who didn’t want to buy him. If you add to that 4 million the wages the club will save it doesn’t look such a bad deal.

Not so sure, they all had nine months left on their contracts so had to be paid up. If that was the case they would have done this season then not have their deals renewed hence they get a proper send off and everyone comes out of it looking good. As it is Sky look guilty of a knee jerk reaction to be seen to be doing the right thing. They haven’t saved money and they’ve pissed off a fair number of their customers. I feel sorry for Scott Minto as well, he was decent and still young. God only knows why he was axed as a presenter. Miles better than Prutton.

Thats good to hear. So whilst that rumour is doing the rounds and grabbing attention hopefully the real work towards getting a new owner is progressing smoothly under the radar.
