absolutely. A draw wouldn't be ideal but it's far from a disaster either.
-
Of course it would. Some people on here falling into the trap of mistaking Pompey for a big club ! How much would they revel in it if a game was moved because the home team's ground isn't considered big enough for them !!! get a grip people ffs
-
Exactly my thoughts when I read it !
-
Oh no ! In three seasons time we are gonna lose at home to Notts County and that will cost us the League ! Seriously though that is a little bit spooky !
-
Yep, quickly added that little gen didnt he ? Only so many players can be at the top four clubs, the rest have to make do with 5/6/7th......what a shame we arent in the top 6 or 7.........oh.......
-
Agree with that. Wasnt totally bowled over by him last year, his passing was by and large shocking. But this season he has been tremendous.
-
Read it again, I KNOW they are our three best players but we have to be realisitc about the reasons they wont be here next year, besides I was talking about the other players, not them
-
The club will not let what happened last summer happen again this year. Clyne, Morgan and Toby will go, I don't expect any other major player to go, and we are likely to attract good players with the combination of Koeman and hopefully European football in our favour.

Nathaniel Clyne Joins Liverpool - Official
beatlesaint replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
thats the nature of top footballers these days. And anyone who thinks players like Clyne would have stayed had we made the Champions League are kidding themselves, as soon as one of the big boys comes knocking it's all over for clubs like ours. -
I wonder how many Newcastle fans can honestly say the hounding out of Pardew has been a success. They are bloody awful and have got exactly what they deserve.
-
Looking at their fixtures no we won't. They will get enough to secure 4th if not still over take United for third, even if they lose today.
-
Can't bring myself to watch him on anything. He has got to the stage where he lies about his own lies now. "I'm leaving QPR because my knees can't take it anymore, I'm in agony, there's no other reason, I haven't fallen out with anybody" through to "people were against me, I didn't know who was on my side" its just all bull**** every time he opens his mouth.
-
I said exactly the same thing yesterday. I do think its funny how they stream out the stadium when they start getting stuffed, ok it happens everywhere I guess but not to the extent they do it ! After watching them yesterday and seeing their remaining fixtures I think Hull are doomed if one of QPR/Burnley/Leicester string a little run together. As for coming up Bournemouth, Watford and Norwich would suit me.

They are and thats what makes what they have done this season even more incredible. There are some big teams in The Championship and they have blown most of them away.

Quite simply the greatest commentator on any sport I have ever heard in my lifetime. Like having an old friend in your living room with you when he was commentating. A true legend. RIP Richie Benaud

We have two keepers who have (somehow in one case) played Premiership football. An emergency loan ain't gonna happen.
-
Poch has been very lucky to have stumbled across Kane this season, Spurs are average at best, especially when Kane doesn't get a kick. They probably will score in the 93rd min however !
-
Best post on here today. How did some of these people cope when we were minus 10 points in the first division and having someone like Ronald Koeman as our manager was pure fantasy !

I cannot believe some people here are starting to turn on Koeman ! what the **** is the matter with you people ? We only ever win at Everton once in a blue moon, today came as no surprise to me. Koeman has been marvellous for this club. If you seriously can't see that go and support Chelsea ffs.
-
Yeah, and the only Prem team to score eight in one game this season, shocking !!
-
Nithing wrong with that at all ! Give him a much needed confidence boost. Southampton first, England very much second.
-
Would score for England wouldn't he ? Pelle will probably score for Italy tomorrow too !
-
it was a bad challenge but once he got up and checked his hair was ok I assumed he was ok, clearly not
