  1. How and where is he doing that ?
  2. What a shame a hugely positive article about the club has been turned into a ****ing contest between a club legend and the man currently steering the good ship Southampton into pleasant waters. Now perhaps those who clamour for Cortese to respond to every half baked story about the club can see why he doesnt. The article/interview has been dissected to death and the way it has been worded by the reporter puts 2 + 2 together and is making 5. Matt is NOT directly mentioned with regard to free tickets yet it has been blown up into something its not. And quite frankly quotes like that one above from dune that "Clotese" can **** off is just pathetic. He saved the club you support idiot, it probably wouldn't be here without him and Markus and you tell him to eff off ?? Fkin hell, with supporters like that we dont need the skates do we ? If you dont like him then fine, but get ALL the facts and make an informed and sensible opinion, not a fkin soundbite like that !
  3. A striker who according to Matt Le Tiss on Sky completely screwed up a one on one with the keeper by shooting far far too early !
  4. No, he isnt. And before anyone starts this business about being in a "Theo is crap" brigade nobody is saying he is crap, some of us however dont think he is as good as some do. Big difference. Theo is a good player, on his day, but they are quite spread out.
  5. Amazing isn't it ? And quite sad too.
  6. IF true and I was Theo i would sign the contract bloody quick. As peacey says he aint that great and i wouldnt be surprised if Alex doesnt end up having his place in the team. I know which one I would prefer.
  7. I would have Guly in for Kachloul but otherwise yeah. Seems a shortage in foreign left backs tho !
  8. Possibly but assuming its in todays newspaper and more people will read that than an article on the internet its a bit unlikely.
  9. Yesss......you have to admit lads, I'm fkin good at this !!! :-)
  10. ahem, as I was saying, Leeds are crap, they wont get anything down there !
  11. I think it was a missed opportunity yes, but why oh why he chose Brighton is totally beyond me !
  12. Dont you think it shows how healthy and good things are at the moment that the only bad player we can obsess about is the 3rd choice goalkeeper ?
  13. Glad to see my praise of Leeds abilities has worked the usual magic. While on a roll I predict Burnley to beat us tomorrow.....there that takes care of that then :-)
  14. Cant see Leeds doing anything down there, they are crap !
  15. I think its a shame when all these big money bids were knocked back we didnt take a punt on Adam Le Fondre. Didnt cost Reading a fortune and just the sort of player NA and co, could have bought on.
  16. Connolly was also an international, for Eire. Its hard to judge because of Connolly's bad luck with injuries, who is to say that a fully fit Connolly wouldnt have banged in 30 goals in a season ? Whilst because of all the long lay offs his record may not come close I cant agree that he is behind Phillips on ability. Connolly is the cleverest forward I have seen in a Saints shirt for many a year. I would take Connolly any day for his all round play.
  17. Again, i havent said he should hoof it down the pitch everytime, or at all actually, just that one particular throw out down the middle of the pitch on a too regular basis could be trouble.
  18. No I'm saying it doesn't hurt to mix it up a bit, play out to the full backs, kick it sometimes but the point is that yesterday most pass outs were directly down the middle and reliant on Cork or Hammond charging back from the centre circle to receive the ball. Plenty of margin for error from that one if done too often. Thats my point.
  19. Why would you keep last years empty booklet ?
  20. If they want to do it a couple of times in a game then fair enough but if they keep doing it teams will wise up and we could be in the mire.
  21. Absolutely. We have won 6 league matches out of 7 and we have won them in different ways, from the demolition of Ipswich to the grinding out a 1-0 against Millwall to a closing out a game against Forest to name but 3. Flukes dont happen like that. We ARE good, seriously good :-)
  22. Its that we are better than you thought we would be. Some players who I had serious doubts about have really stepped up to the plate in this league, Hammond being a case in point.
  23. I really didnt believe we would win today, I thought it looked a draw written all over it, but first half we were superb at times. Wasn't too keen on Richardson last season but he has been very solid this season, Hooiveld looked ok to me, I know some dont agree. Fox does worry me with his marking, I am still preferring Harding at the moment but its early days, only his second full game. For me Connolly was man of the match. I cannot think of a cleverer forward wearing the Saints shirt in many many years. He was outstanding today and some of the link up play with Lallana is out of this world. Guly had a quiet game apart from the superb finish and Chaplow certainly made a difference when he came on. Closes people down well and makes lots of little darting runs. Top of the League eh ? Fkin delighted :-)
