Football League Show highlights were very fair reflection on the game. Loved the fact they showed the clear cut penalties that were not given with even the commentator showing dis-belief that the ref didnt point to the spot. It actually made Poyet's moaning look even more ridiculous. With bad editing it could have been made to look like he had a point or that we were a bit lucky. My only regret is that nobody pointed out to Poyet they were already one down and didnt manage a shot on target for the whole 90 minutes so how did it change the game....but never mind eh ? :-) Claridge very fair again, for a skate he aint bad actually.

Absolutely. We were bloody lucky the season before, we wouldn't have been that lucky again. Jones had one good season and that was his first. It was downhill after that.

It actually bordered on cheating, the only thing he didnt do was put the ball in the back of the net for them. Fortunately niether could their players :-)

He should take a leaf out of his book then and learn what it takes to be a model professional who when injured or out of the team doesnt sulk or mope about but just works their way back into contention.

Was very concerned about his defending when he first came here but last few games he has looked much much better defensively. So much so as a die cast Harding fan I now prefer Fox.

Yeah we have but we have also played 3 teams who, with one more win, could move into the top half where the middle is so congested, or you could equally say we have only played 4 of the bottom 10 away. And of our 8 home games, 5 of those are in the top half.

Its pinned up by my desk at work so I reckon I look at it at least 10 times an hour :-) Printed one off after about 5 games thinking it wasn't going to get any better than that but every week since early September I have had to print a new one every Monday morning.......not just for me you understand but for everyone who walks into our section including a skate who got quite gobby yesterday telling me we would crash and burn anytime now and how "the scum always need someone to make them look good"....to which my response was "what like the whole league you mean ?" At that point he walked away....pity really cos I was going to comment how generous it was of the skates to give us a 17 point advantage after just 15 games :-)

Very true......and it sounds like he is yet to get an invite to one of NC's dinners with the supporters who in a relaxed and smaller environment manage to ask questions that in a big open Forum they wouldnt get chance to because people like him, Illingsworth and McMillan taking over ! Dont really see why you have singled this out as Saints tbh, this could have gone in General Sport as a debate about 75% of Prem and Championship clubs doing this until around the Quarter Finals. Everyone who travelled knew as they did when they went to Swindon, as I did when I went to the Torquay and Preston games.

Having seen him play every time he has turned out at St Marys with the exception of the 2 goal heroics against MK Dons last season he hasnt exactly set the world alight, Played as a striker he looks pretty poor, played as a winger he looks average. Would probably have been ok had we stayed in Div. 1 but just not up to The Championship IMHO. Could be a good one to loan out for a month or two to someone like Bournemouth and see how he gets on with a run of games under his belt.
