Lukas Jutkiewicz.... is he worth signing?

No idea, I'm just saying I reckon in terms of strikers Lee will be the only one we get this window, hope I'm wrong but i have my doubts. -

I dont for one minute think Lee has been signed as a back up to Rickie.....I think he is the only striker we will be signing in January. Hope I'm wrong and that a big signing comes out of somewhere but i just have the feeling Lee is it ! -
Did we know the club's initial application for a work permit had failed and this was an appeal ? I thought we thought this was a straight permit application job.

With a centre back on loan at the very least I agree with you. Would rather we buy one outright though.

Coventry 1 - 2 Saints - Post Match Reaction

Maybe not but we are a hell of a lot better with him in the team. -
Yep, pleased for him, must have given his confidence a timely boost too.
-
He doesn't have to be overlapping to leave space behind him, if you ever watch him properly you will see that !
-
Bet they dont rubber stamp it before the Forest game, wouldn't be the first time slow paperwork has held us up - Papa and Guly to name two recently.
-
Unless Butterfield plays right side of midfield to help the boy, he has played there before, although not for us admittedly.

If there is anyone left out there who doesnt think R Lowe Esq was a complete knob I give you Exhibit A. 5 years !! FFS x 2

If its got a pulse and can kick a ball bloody Redcrapp and Spurs are interested. -
Last season it was letting in soft goals at his near post. He seems to have got over that weakness, only to find another one. Pity.
-
Technically lacking ? I tell you what, he could teach Fox a thing or two about defending.
-
No, Steve Mills was still alive when the game was played, he led the two teams out. Good night that was, very emotional and raised lots of money for the Steve Mills Fund.

Whats happened to Doble ? Injured or gone backwards since his loan at Bournemouth ?
-
Weston said on 10 December - "As far as I am aware, Lallana was fully over his injury today" I'm pretty sure VMAN has confirmed the same thing. So, if true, it must be down to confidence and getting the right sort of service into him regularly. Whatever it is I hope he finds top form again soon cos we are going to need him big time esp without Rickie.
-
But those on here that know him or his family (VMAN, Weston) say that he is fully over the injury and has been for some while. Personally I think its more to do with the Harding not playing behind him situation and the fact all the give and goes he gets from Harding and Connolly have been missing. Its a hell of a coincidence that he looked much better first half against Brighton when Harding was playing, IMHO of course.

Saints players with Surnames that are also Christian names.

Neil Maddison Lee Todd David Lee -
Bloody good question. Butterfield could have done a job on the right of midfield yesterday, Holmes on the left and both would have tightened things up when Rickie went off. Dickson is another option for left side of midfield so Lallana could have gone to the right. They woyuld certainly offer more options than Reeves and Forte.

At last ! Someone else can see it !! Its not just this game its virtually every game that this description will apply to Fox. If I was an opposing manager I would tell my right winger/midfielder that Fox will give you plenty of space and time to do whatever you like going forward and that defensively you wont have to venture far over the halfway line cos as soon as Fox gets 10 yards over it he stops and plays a ball in field rather than getting to the penalty area or better still bye line (a la Harding). He will venture that far forward maybe 2 or 3 times a game but nothing like Richardson and Harding do. Oh yeah, he has a great left foot and can deliver a free kick or corner but he aint no £1.7 mill full back.

totally fed up more like
-
before you tar and feather him have you seen the incident ? If not then wait until you have before deciding the guy whose goals got us promoted then to the top of the Championship is Public Enemy No. 1
-
He had an ankle op a couple of weeks ago. What are you talking about ?
-
We have two weeks to make a couple of good signings before the next league game. FFS dont wait until 31 january, esp with Lambert out.
