  1. Puncheon......i felt like telling him to take his hands out his bloody pockets and show a bit of respect. Arrogant looking tosser.
  2. Spectaculalry missed the point haven't you ? For one the watches were to be bought when the club won a trophy or promotion but on the day he died Markus bought one for Cortese. So use your common sense and try and work out why he only bought one and why he had to buy it THAT day.
  3. I was wondering wether to take my camera but wondered if it was in poor taste to take pictures of people going into a memorial service in a church.
  4. I hope that brings some comfort to them, to see the outpouring of grief from so many who never knew him yet hold him in such high esteem for saving the club. It takes a special man to touch the lives of so many people who never had the pleasure to meet him.
  5. Got a reply from Jordan Sibley. They are deciding in the next few days what to do about the tributes for Saturday's game. Some outside of turnstiles will need to be moved without doubt.
  6. Booked a days leave, driving up from Bournemouth. Its the least I felt I could do, this man saved my football club.
  7. Considering how unassuming Markus seemed I would be very surprised if any t-shirts etc came out with him on.
  8. Oh I'm sure he did. I'm glad that people sang his name out whilst he was there with us and not just after his death.
  9. This is the only cup comp we have a realistic chance of winning so I dont see how going for it would impact on our promotion chances. Its only 6 games inc the final after all.
  10. tributes@saintsfc.co.uk
  11. Think you will find that ***** defected to Chelsea !
  12. You could virtually guarantee it ;-)
  13. Thanks for the picture Andy. It not only makes me sad but also makes me very very proud to be a Saints supporter right now. The level of gratitude and thanks for one man is incredible.
  14. I have e mailed Jordan Sibley to ask how long they are intending to keep the tribute at the front of the stadium and if it would be possible to keep it until next Saturday. Will let you know if/when he replies.
  15. There is, and I've just made myself cry by leaving a message via email.
  16. yes I agree, although practically the queues would be such that it would be impossible to manage I would think.
  17. Oh right ok. Dont see why you cannot reserve your own seat online like you can for some games but at the moment considering other events surrounding the club its not important.
  18. Still cant book your own seat if you are a Season Ticket Holder online then. That means you have to phone up I assume and incurr the £3 booking fee !!
  19. Ok, thankyou, I havent seen any newspapers today although I read that even The Sun have put their spat to one side for a while.
  20. Doubtful.....its not the first time Coppell has left a club pretty quickly, just ask a Man City fan. Its all a bit too quick and I dont see why Markus's death would trigger Coppell coming here.
  21. Dont know, we really dont know much at all about this most private of men, yet we owe him so much. Its the daughter who has taken over the ownership of MALI as per their website so if there is a son then I wonder what he does ?
  22. Niether did I, but it reafirms my confidence that we will continue to be owned by the Liebherr family. You can be pretty sure that any daughter would want to see out her fathers wishes in such circumstances. As Markus was a hands off owner she would presumably carry on that role and let NC oversee the day to day running of the club. Her fathers wish was to see us back in the Premiership. I would think that is now her wish, for him.
  23. Yes I believe he did. I must admit a silly thing like him holding up the red card to help form the mosaic with the rest of the ground bought a tear to my eye. RIP Markus.....and thankyou...again.
  24. For a Christian, like Markus, his passing is an act of God as well.
  25. I will re-word it then - "questioning the postponment of the game" You get my point though surely, you are an itelligent man after all. BTW this is the sort of comment I am referring to, just in case you aren't as clever as I think you are ! - "Am I the only one who thinks postponing the game could be a bit of an over-reaction?"
