It happened only once, everytime he came on screen after that there were cheers. Thats the trouble when you get 12000 plus part timers turn up Mountains....molehills......

Antonio was my man of the match today, I thought if anyone was going to freeze today it could be him but he was superb. As for Papa, I would sign him, he is excellent at picking up scraps around the box, hence he was in the right place at the right time for his goal, and not for the first time this season either.

There is no way 500 people occupy a carriage of a train, they are 10 carriage long trains and that includes First Classm the Guards compartment and the bit for bikes. I would do your maths again....having caught the train for years to Southampton when I lived in Weymouth I dont think I ever saw 500 people on one, never mind 5000 !!!

No........there will be 20,000 less than capacity, the losing teams supporters will leave first anyway, and the powers that be are well versed in getting supporters away on the tube in quick time. Just because someone told someone something means nothing.

I'm guessing back in the early 1920's when it was built the travel situation wasn't what it is today. People would have used the tube, or walked to the ground, unlike today when people get in their cars to drive the half mile down the road to get a pint of milk etc etc. The roads around Wembley would have been perfectly adequate, probably up to about the 1960's. Wherever you put a sports stadia that will hold in excess of 80,000 people you will have travel chaos on the roads these days.

Dont worry the forecast will change at least twice more before we get to Sunday. The BBC one for Central London has changed twice today already !! Just keep your fingers crossed for a dry day....and a win !

Connolly's v Norwich was class Thomas v Ipsiwch was an incredible strike Lambert v MK was class too. I really cant seperate them.......when was the last time we scored so many bloody good goals in one season ? I suppose we have to go back to MLT's prime when he used to have his own competition going !

I wonder if their assistant manager has shot himslef yet ? For whatever reason he seems to hate us with a passion.....yesterday may just have been a bridge too far for the poor lamb !

Thomas injured in training - misses Wembley

That is a great shame. If the experiment worked today I would go with that. Anything has to be better than Lloyd James poor defending and inability to get a cross past the first defender. I know he wasnt alone but he was truly shocking when he came on last Tuesday. -
You are like the boy who cried wolf aren't you ? Why dont you just bog off to Arsenal as you promised months and months ago. Better still go anywhere except St Marys you miserable old bastard. And change your bloody user name, what an insult to a club legend, posting your negative, miserable bile under his name.

He only made a reasonable request......i think you have the problem sir. And whats with the orange text ? Even attention seekers like 19C dont go in for that......or dont you know how to change the colour of text on your iddy biddy computer then ? -
Umm, interesting.

Who is right back then ?

Given their league position I know it would be hard to tell BUT they do realise if they field a weakened side like Grunt keeps talking about they will be fined don't they ?
-
I agree, I hardly think you could accuse us, or Crystal Palace for that matter of "ideas above our station". Leeds are the only ones I can think of, apart from the obvious of course, who tried to live the dream then it all went bust. I assume he is one of those journos who think only the biggest names in football should be in the Premiership, in which case he must hate Hull, Wigan, Poopey and Stoke with a passion. I think its a great shame Lord M wont be at Wembley to present the JPT cup - last time we went there we all got to boo Branfoot, it wont be the same without a hate figure to focus on !
-
A little bit, it should really only be the captain, Hammond, that talks to the ref. When its a really bad decision, like so many yesterday I can understand it. When its a run of the mill thing then yes, they should leave it alone. BTW - "didn't have a great game" is a touch of an understatement.
-
You see this is a case of two people hearing the same comments differently isn't it ? I heard it as though the manager decides who he might want based on the areas that need strengthening, but once he has decided and it has been agreed that player is within budget, at the right age, right wages etc then the manager steps away and NC and his team take over sorting out the deal. Except for anywhere that Redcrapp manages I would be surprised if any club leaves the buying of players purely to the manager.
-
The first two decisions in the second half he gave our way. I was coming to the conclusion at this point that the guy was only capable of pointing for a free kick in one direction, towards the Chapel. He then reverted to type. How a referee can determine that Hammond flicking, not kicking, the ball away is worth the same punishment as a guy who lays out Harding with the ref looking straight at the incident beggars belief. Fortunately he didnt cost us the 3 points, despite his best efforts. Had he done so then there could have been a riot there yesterday. And they try to say refs decisions dont insite the crowd........
-
Quite frankly the ref was a disgrace. Most refs in this league are poor but he is a premiership ref FFS !! I was convinced he would give them something like a dodgy penalty, he did everything else for them after all. Thankfully he did not cost us all 3 points, cos thats certainly the way it looked like it was going. I assume he has been demoted from the Prem has he ?
-
I wonder how much Storrie will charge them per hour ? Consultants dont come cheap and where I used to work it was a standing joke that someone would leave or retire then come back as a consultant and earn more money doing so.
-
Whilst not politically correct in these times of embracing Diversity, it is none the less true.....but we aren't allowed to either say or know that anyomore are we !!
-
Absolutely. You have 5000 German supporters surrounded by 83000 Englishmen yet they segregate that. To segregate 44000 Saints fans from 24000 Carlisle fans you need a gap of 22000 seats !!! Incredible.
-
Dont forget they are living in a fantasy world at best or clinging to any scrap of wood that floats past them at worse. Money laundering, within a Football Club ? How on earth would they seriously expect to escape further punishment for that ?
-
Be even worse if Burnley manage to beat Stoke at home tonight !
