  1. Not as much comedy as watching you tip toe into every discussion or argument, contradict yourself, back peddle, move on and drag up your same old same old points in an entirely different thread that as usual bears no relation to your ramblings whilst at the same time deliberately mis-interpreting what anyone you consider below you has to say
  2. Now thats just plain silly.
  3. Would Financial be the key word in that sentence per chance ?
  4. dont know, hence the "......" But the first bit about him smirking is 100% true.
  5. Maybe, maybe not......I think its the fact he announced it with a smirk on his face rather than the penalty which upset so many people. Oh and then this no right to appeal business........
  6. Be lovely if its after the JPT Final at Wenbley....and we got there....and won it ! Be the second year running he would have to present the trophy to a club he **** on Here's hoping !
  7. Seems it might be a case of a leopard not able to change its spots. If he was greeted with such outrage last time he was here by staff i always wondered how he could come back into the fold and start afresh. Just under 4 months in the job suggests he couldn't.
  8. Ian Darke, despite being a Pompey fan has always been very very fair when commentating on the Saints, and that goes back years to when Sky first started covering football. He is one of the best commentators around IMHO and never shows any bias. I thought Minto was very good too, dont see that he was bias, he said all night that we were much much better. The only one biased was Franny
  9. Exactly. Aside from his "contribution" at St Mary's he has been escorted out of more than enough football grounds over the years to make him, shall we say, mis-understood !
  10. Having seen it a few times on replay thats a bit harsh. Do you want to re-evaluate your statement ?
  11. AP agrees with you about being a bit sloppy. Good to hear cos we really did pee all over them.
  12. Totally agree, had a good game tonight, well done Bart
  13. I couldnt believe we have waited all this time to get that 3 line letter. I havent lost much but for the ordinary supporters who have (as opposed to those businessmean from Gloucestershire way - ahem ) then that is really rubbing salt into the wounds. Um, like we didnt know months and months ago Mr Fry ! Why the delay....its the first and obviously last letter I have had from them too !
  14. Its Live on Sky so probably not.
  15. Well he sort of has, Papa is on loan for the season with a view to buying, so its similar but the timescale is obviously broader.
  16. Now now, no need to be sarcastic - when the draw came out i just said "that will do" cos it should mean progression to Round 3....which is what we all want...right ?
  17. yeah I did actually and I sat next to Wade Elliott's dad.....very interesting he was too ! How much better are we now than we were then by the way ?
  18. What like it has for Charlton, Hartlepool etc ? Did anyone say the Quarter Final draw at home to Wolves back in 2003 was boring by the way ?
  19. Since there are enough of you who have done it would someone kindly tell me why this is a "crap and boring" draw ? Surely a team in a lower league who we should beat to progress to the 3rd round is a good draw isn't it ? And how can it be boring ? It could end up 6-4 !!!
  20. Indeed....following on from a previous Chairman who made similar quotes regarding Gray, Wigley, Sturrock, Redknapp, Portaloo and Wotte !!
  21. Home to Staines would be nice. I bet we get bloody Norwich or Leeds
  22. Especially if they are short of cash and want to strengthen in other areas yes. They are doing ok in the league aren't they, he obviously has centre half cover amongst the 7 subs he has to name every week, and didn't I see that NT's contract expires in the summer ?
  23. I would think the chances of having him available for Round 2 ofthe FA Cup have increased. Beyond that we will have to see if he plays enough for our first team for him to even want to stay. That England tornament did him no favours as far as his place in the team goes.
  24. How good was Antonio's goal ? And Connolly's finishing shows his class. If he stays fit he will be a big player for us in the next 2-3 years
  25. Joseph Mills, Lee Holmes, Lee Molyneux....in that order
