If he stays Tall Paul will absolutely tear up the Championship defenders IF we find a couple of people who can cross a ball into the area.

Selles is too much of a cautious Carol for me. The time has come....or will do next Saturday against Palace, where caution has to take a back seat cos this really is shit or bust, moreso than the previous shit or bust games which we have blown every bloody time. We cant blow this one !

Wishful thinking I'm afraid. they will all go. The only good thing is with those going plus JWP and KWP obviously is the amount of money we should bring in to rebuild. I know you dont get or can command quite so much once youve gone down BUT if more than one club want a player that'll bump it back up a few million.

Don’t get me wrong, Theo has done pretty well since coming back in…..but as the target forward? Nah
-
I think I’ll take it match by match next season then if we are up near the top and going for promotion/playoffs take up the half year season ticket option around Christmas.

I kind of admire your belief that it ain’t over til it’s over but at the same time convince yourself it is, you can only be pleasantly surprised that way if a miracle happens 🤣

I have a terrible feeling Bourenmouth will beat Brighton tonight. The Cherries have won their last four games at home to them.
-
No, I really can’t
-
Start them two, start Tall Paul, get the ball in the box to him and have runners coming into the box looking to pick up any scraps. It’s the only chance we have, I think anyway.

Having watched Saints since 1976 I can honestly say I cannot think of a worse, more ineffective forward line. We literally have nothing in attack. The only thing we might have is Tall Paul who, when he gets a cross on his head, hits the bar……but he won’t get game time, that’s obvious. We are toast.

No

you dont have to be so literal ALL the time Alex ! its comparable, even you must getthe drift of that !
-
Yeah thats true, is it Wigan have had points deducted cos they couldnt pay their players last month ? I mean, bloody hell, thats punishing the players who are the victims too isnt it ?
-
Yeah you’re right I think but we have won 3 home games in the league out of the last 16 over two seasons. It’s a big ask !
-
Yeah, with Mike Osman.
-
and still win 2-0
-
That would be my bet. I feel I should go but I really can’t be bothered, I get so bloody angry watching this tripe.

There was a bloke with his kids a couple of rows in front of us and he was up and down like a whore's drawers all night so I assume the toilets and all catering outlets got a thorough testing in the Kingsland.
-
wasnt that a Nathan Jones tactic though ?
-
I dont think he's bad, ive seen worse.....one of them was wearing No. 24 shirt last night. Its not the lads fault he's come into a squad where the only thing they do with a small degree of competence is pass the ball sideways and back. thats not great when you are a pacey forward looking to run past defenders.
-
Looks alright to me, got a decent touch and quite mobile for a big guy but he's not going to be any use unless someone pings a cross or two in towards him so he can actually use his height to win headers. The only decent cross he's seen since he got here was against Chelsea and he nearly scored. I dont think the problem lies with Tall Paul, the problem is lack of service and playing to his strengths.

I know some are disappointed we didn’t beat ten men but I’ll take anything against United. They always find a way to beat us no matter how we play so moments like a point up there, in the past few years certainly, are as rare as hens teeth. Take the point, focus on picking up 3 on Wednesday and we go up to 16th. That’s the aim !

Maybe, just maybe, Ian Wright actually likes Lineker whereas he might think Le Tiss is a bit of a twat. But Matthew wouldn’t think of that I don’t suppose.
-
Well what have we got at home that we can win? Bournemouth and Palace are must wins. One win out of Brentford/Spurs or Fulham with Liverpool and Man City very unlikely to get anything. So 9 points minimum which leave a couple of wins, or one and two draws away. I'm not confident at all.

I would love to know what he does in training that impresses the coaching staff cos he is awful.
