  1. I agree there is no point, however the crown will protect its speeding income at any price.
  2. http://www.dailyecho.co.uk/news/10280908.Sentencing_of_Chris_Huhne_and_Vicky_Pryce___live/ I can see a heavy sentence for both....
  3. Teachers having guns is a recipe for disaster. 1: A teacher may become unhinged and rather than throw a board rubber, draw a gun. 2: A pupil might become unhinged and steal the gun from the teachers bag, locked draw. 3: The gun may misfire if in a holster on the teacher. The odds of these senarios happening are far higher than a rouge shooting.

  11. Whilst it may all be true, he would have to prove it to be true. Most of his sources are hearsay
  12. I would follow this letter up with a brifest letter, a 14 day demand for a refund and failing that date go direct to the small clains court.
  13. I dont carry cash, I just carry a card. there is about £5 cash in the car for parking meters but I dont spend that often. I pay everything direct debit, I buy food once a week, I get most of my DIY supplies on ebay with PayPal... but occasionally I need a pencil, a bag of crisps or a cup of coffee and buy it on my card (Just solely to wind barry up ) I am not skint... tight, yes, but not skint.
  14. Many people think that the mortar holds bricks together. In fact mortar keeps the bricks apart.

  18. https://mortgages.hsbc.co.uk/product/A001003405001003407001003409-lifetime-tracker-special?mortgages=aggregators I am not sure if you can draw back over payment but is a usefull product if you fit the rules
  19. The best thing I did was to get an interest only flexible tracker mortgage running till I am 65. It does require self discipline. We have heavily used tax efficient share save schemes at work rather than paying off the capital on the mortgage. We managed to pay off £52k in 3 years from £18k of savings I can also draw down money to extend or even buy another house with only a £50 admin fee. I can draw down the original mortgage of £142k even though we no longer have the 2 wages that supported that. Our current mortgage interest is £9 per month Fees are the killer at the moment. A lot of the short 2/3 year deals at 2% work out at 4% if you add in the booking fee. It's a card trick!
  20. On top of spaghetti all covered with sauce My Ikea meatballs, consist mainly of horse
  21. Think of it this way.... Portpin has a 12m charge on a 3m property. The administrator has a potential buyer. He is asking the court if he can sell it to the buyer at a fair price. "I am secure" does not work if you secure a 30k loan against a 10 year old ford focus..... 3 million enters the coffers.... Who gets paid first.... Baloo... oh no.... Clever Trevor There was an admin called Trevor Who played chess with Baloo , real clever He kept delaying the game To drive him insane And Baloo got paid, never
