  1. Just got to hope that BBC don't bloody put this match on a Friday night.
  2. If they can beat Man City, West Ham and Bournemouth, they can beat us. Let's not underestimate them.
  3. How long is the ref going to give them??
  4. Sheffield United, 2014 League Cup
  5. Can't wait to see Tadic and Boufal huff and puff against them
  6. Anyone remember what happened the last time we faced a League 1 team in a cup quarter-final?
  7. HOLY ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
  8. It's one of those that would deserve an "orange card" so to speak. Personally I'd have given a yellow, but you can see why it was given as a red.
  9. Oooh Man City down to ten men!
  10. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/football/2018/02/18/wigan-manager-paul-cook-wine-pep-guardiola-will-get-can-skol/ Interesting interview with Paul Cook. Of course he was a skate, but from an objective point of view, he seems down to earth and likeable. And he had the sense to move far, far away from the septic isle at the first possible opportunity...
  11. Yup, so definitely Friday night, Saturday lunchtime and two on Sunday. BBC have first and fourth pick, BT have second and third. We won't be first pick (Leicester v Chelsea is probably the best match) so I guess it depends whether BT (assuming they choose Man Utd for the ratings) would want our match or go for the possible Spurs away fixture (but risk it being Rochdale instead).
  12. Only 10 points off the relegation places. A bad run and they will be looking over their shoulder. The footballing gods need to give Saints fan something to cheer about soon...
  13. Last year it was two Saturday games, one on Sunday and one on Monday. The year before that, it was one on Friday, one on Saturday and two on Sunday. I think it depends on what the TV companies want. The final Six Nations games are all on the same Saturday, so that might have an impact. BT have Liverpool v Watford in the Premier League on Saturday evening, and BBC are showing the rugby at the same time. So definitely no Saturday evening game, but probably one Saturday lunchtime game. Likely to be two on Sunday and then the other either on Friday or Monday night.
  14. 1-1 I reckon. We don’t really do clean sheets anymore
  15. Oh I agree, I don't really buy into these conspiracy theories.
  16. Very convenient draw for BT Sport, who were the ones doing the draw... makes you wonder.
  17. All the big teams kept apart. How convenient.

  19. Yup. Disgraceful IMO, there are still two ties to go!
  20. If we draw Man Utd at home, I'll believe it's an omen that we're going down this season.
  21. A thought - if we're drawn at home or we are away to a PL side, we'll get to see VAR in action.
  22. The quarter-final draw is tonight at 7.45pm. Odd time.
  23. Pompey fans chanting at Anton Ferdinand - "There's only one John Terry" Classy bunch aren't they?
  24. It was obvious to everyone that we needed a new centre back, apart from Les Reed and Ross Wilson.
  25. I'm not encouraged at all to be honest.
