They’re clearly aware that the fans aren’t happy at all. So I really can’t see how they go forward with Pellegrino unless results significantly improve, starting tonight. A couple of plucky draws here and there isn’t enough.

Don’t forget your white hankies

Krueger is completely wrong. We’ve finished top 8 four seasons in a row, that’s not the accomplishments of a small team merely punching above their weight. When we sacked Puel after finishing 8th and reaching a cup final, it was my understanding that we were therefore aiming higher for this season. Krueger’s interview is very worrying IMO. I’m not reassured at all.

Mack’s right though, this thread has been quite quiet, not a lot of entertainment for us nutjobs. Our best bet for a few laughs is a play off defeat.
-
We did the double over Middlesbrough I believe.
-
Surprised at Hoedt not playing. Bertrand back is a bonus though.
-
Put him on ignore then. Nobody’s stopping you.

Tom was given the opportunity to prove he was an ITK by the mods. I’ll leave it for everyone else to decide why he didn’t take up that offer. I’m sure you would be afforded the same opportunity. If you want to prove myself and CB Fry wrong then I would welcome it.

Yup, that would clear everything up once and for all. For clarity, nobody has said that what choccybox said was 100% false. As for SFC TID, he got caught out and is still whinging about it. You’d think he’d just stay quiet out of embarrassment but apparently not.

In all honesty, I think what the poster put will be proven as true. But when someone pointed out, reasonably in my opinion, that what he said was open ended, bizarrely he threw a hissy fit. It was the overwhelming sense of entitlement that annoyed people.

Erm, that is more or less what I said

Late Liverpool goal! Was tempted by the 8/1 in play bet just after Burnley equalised, didn’t go for it unfortunately
-
Liverlol concede late at Burnley
-
Stoke fans are very unhappy (more so than normal), surely Hughes will go after this. No Prem games for a little while so ideal time for clubs to make a change.
-
Huddersfield losing, good news as it stands
-
So we want a win for Leicester and a draw between Stoke and Newcastle. And a win for Burnley so we can laugh at Liverpool.

Being skeptical isn’t being abusive. K Billy, Guan, LeG never get people questioning things. Why? Because they are reliable. If someone posts something then how can we know it can be trusted? Hobbit didn’t say it wasn’t true, simply that it was quite vague and open ended. Being trusted is earned. Until then, it’s perfectly acceptable to be skeptical of unconfirmed information on the internet. If you want to blindly believe it then that’s your choice.
-
Where exactly has my opinion changed? I’ve always been consistent that I’ve considered Puel a very good manager and Silva an overrated one.
-
Hobbit’s post was pretty reasonable I thought.
-
Oh dear, another so-called ‘ITK’ who has a dreadful sense of entitlement on this forum. Until what you’ve posted can be proven true (or false), it’s pretty reasonable for people to be skeptical.

I thought he did OK when he played at Bournemouth. Maybe Leicester will sign him
-
Maybe VVD was a cancer at the club. Palace will be the deciding game. Lose or draw and Pellegrino has to go.
-
We had Richard Wright on loan during the relegation battle in 07-08. He made a number of crucial saves.

This is the most important game of the season. Anything less than three points would be very disappointing. The fans in the stadium need to up their game, because the atmosphere has been really poor at home recently.

That depends what his motivations are. If he’s happy to pick up a decent wage but not play, he will be hard to sell. If he wants first team football and is willing to reduce his wages then it’ll be easier. If we were looking to sell him, we’d be looking, at a minimum, of recouping what we paid for him, and probably more. So that would be the biggest sticking point. In any case, it’s probably too early to think about his future. But if he isn’t playing by the end of the season then I can’t imagine him wanting to stick around as a number 2.
