  1. Oh this is going to be brilliant. Once again, they've overspent, and have gone searching desperately for anyone with a bit of wealth. Sensibly, no fake Sheikhs this time
  2. Man Utd will probably get a CL spot regardless of the league, I think Mourinho has put all of his eggs in the Europa League basket. Which is fair enough, because without a doubt they are the strongest team left.
  3. Lots of squad rotation in the last couple of weeks then
  4. No idea what Koeman sees in him. He thought he was a better RB than Cedric, which quite frankly is laughable.

    Arsenal

We can still finish as high as 3rd #KeepTheFaith Man City game is a must win for our Champions League hopes
  6. It's very poor, there are only 5 weeks until the end of the season. That's when the Man Utd game will be played, the Arsenal match will be earlier than that. It's lucky that both our matches are at home, otherwise it would give people incredibly short notice to arrange things.
  7. I don't think it's possible to tell which teams we will finish above, but like last season, at least one of them will slip up. After Ferguson left, Man Utd had a dreadful season, and the same thing could happen to Arsenal if Wenger goes, especially if they sell all their best players. Liverpool showed last season that they can't handle all those games whilst Klopp wants them to play high energy football. Everton will be nowhere near as competitive if they are hindered by a European campaign. And they'll have to adapt without Lukaku and Barkley.
  8. I reckon Barcelona or Real Madrid will be in for him
  9. Just goes to show how well we did to get a result against Palace. Puel is a world class manager, we are so fortunate to have him.

    Caceres

    Another great thread by 9-3
  11. In random Pompey news, Tony Adams has been appointed the head coach of Granada
  12. Leicester winning now!
  13. It's a shame that feels the need to troll, because at times, his posts are actually well-informed and interesting to read. All of this stuff about us going down, at the time was nonsense, and only the usual bed wetters thought we were in a relegation battle. At no point was there even a slim, remote, tiny possibility that we would be involved in the relegation fight. At all.
  14. Actually, Herrera didn't go to ground at all, in fact, none of the Man Utd players really remonstrated with the ref to send the Sunderland player off.
  15. Everton 1-0 up already
  16. Same tactics for how we played against Liverpool and got two wins out of two.
  17. Mathematically we can still qualify for the Champions League
  18. If Gabbi plays, we'll get at least a draw. We can't afford to miss a load of chances.
  19. Let's not get ahead of ourselves. 7th is theirs really, they're too far ahead of us probably. It would be nice to reduce the gap to them though.
  20. Scary stuff at the end there. Brilliant win though, and a clean sheet, which is nice. Forster has been poor this season but today, he earnt us that win, so kudos to him.
  21. We've played pretty well. But West Brom are one of those teams that can seemingly score a goal out of nothing, so I think we'll need another goal.
  22. I think it shows how well we did to restrict them to beating us by just the one goal
  23. That was a month ago! Of course now they have no chance of going down It'll be Sunderland, Middlesbrough and one of Swansea or Hull. Palace under Allardyce will do OK, even if they do have a horrendous run in. And as much as I would love to see West Ham go down, I can't see it happening.
  24. We've got a new ref today, Chris Kavanagh. His first Premier League. Considering the current standard, it's about time some new refs were introduced. We have already had him this season, in the cup game at Norwich.
  25. It just proves again that are an absolutely massive club
