You've upped one or two of their prices there.... Wasn't Gazza 1m-2m (plus getting rid of Forecast) Thought Yoshida was only a little over 2m as well. Also forgetting Clyne for 2.5m is a bargain and Steven Davis at nothing or a bag of peanuts for Rangers to go away are both good business. Rodriguez we got mugged on though, not a 7m player, basically the champs Torres.
-
Why not Steven Davis up there and have Guly on the bench? I like Guly but Steven Davis is far far more effective than him in the "Gaston attacking midfielder" role.
-
Yeah its very odd, Guzan in no way should be first choice ahead of Given, especially when Given has retired internationally for the first choice spot. I'd take Friedel in a heart beat, the man is a machine in his early 40's and has at least 18 good footballing months ahead of him. Paul Robinson on a free would also be a blinder, he's got plenty of time at the top of his game, then Given who has had a few injuries recently (which makes me worry) but still is a class act. Cudicini 4th choice if that order of keepers doesn't come off.

Pretty much how to see Gaston, would much rather have him going forward and really pressing other teams (scaring them) than someone like Joe Allan with a much higher pass completion rate but doing nothing of note. Plus £12m for a 21 year old is a lot, but at the same time represents our faith in him/the faith that we can make money on him. Much better buy than say £16m on Joe Allan...

Fair enough, haven't paid attention to the last day of the prem for a while now and couldn't remember how it panned out.

The city one is alright, hardly the end of the world between 3pm and 5.30 kickoffs. Is the stoke at home game TV now? Guessing its predicted to be a "who will stay up" sort of game...
-
Just got his first game on my FM save in 2014...
-
That's just Paul Lambert showing what a tit he is. Guzan is also a good keeper but ignoring Given like this "to put pressure on his performances" is madness when they are in such a position...
-
Even the main bit was pretty swift, only had a 2 min wait to get to the front, I like having options at St Marys (Singha is always a good choice) but I just wish the people who worked there could actually pick them quickly instead of gazing slowly at the shiney colours. We should just have vending machines to speed the process up.... On the plus it was nice having the Liverpool concourse trying to sell us things

Stoke (A) Tickets On Sale From Thursday. Nicely Priced As Well

What a great day out that will be! Haven't been since 2007 and a 25 quid a pop it would be rude not too! London midland are doing loads of cheap trains up there, £12.90 return from MK and not much more from London. -
How come they have a working points system?!!?
-
Shame he is a crap cb. It's more fun when you hear of ex newcastle players burning 50's in front of people doing football tricks with a bottle in a club...
-
Biggest game of the season that we should win at least 8-0. Cannot give them an inch and should smash several past them, especially as Jason Roberts is their main outlet going forward... In reality it'll be 2-1 to us and we will have worked for it, but that will do.
-
Why is Rodriguez ahead of him?? Myuka can play in Punch's position (who is consistently very inconsistent) and allows us to play 4-2-3-1 instead of the GASH 4-4-2 that doesn't work when Lambert and Rodriguez are on. Adkins Adkins sort it out sort it out. Just a stupid situation to be in for once, cannot see why we run an ineffective player into the ground instead of give someone 45 mins to show what they can do.
-
Honestly we weren't that bad. Both teams had played 3 games in 6 days and both managers hadn't really grasped the concept of rotating the squad. Disappointed that a draw was within the grasp, pleased we didn't get a hiding. No idea what Myuka has done to be so firmly thrown out of contention compared to a TERRIBLE Puncheon but meh. What do we expect. 1-0 flattered Liverpool massively. 0-0 would have flattered both teams really as no one looked like they should win it and a decent header was the difference.
-
Finally home, we looked SHATTERED! As did Liverpool really, two sides with 3 games in 6 days that thoroughly disappointed everyone who went. Shining light, Gazza put the terrible Wednesday behind him and played better than he did last weekend. All of our back line played well too, was the difference between 1-0 and 10. Going forward I cannot see who's misses Myuka has ****ged to keep him self out of the squad like this. 4-4-2 DOES NOT WORK and playing Rodriguez in it is an embarrassment. Punch had a typical punch game, was incisive for 10 mins then they cottoned on to what he does then he looked a prat for 60 mins till he was subbed. Useless performance. Everyone else just was tired. Adkins has to rotate for these sorts of fixtures in the future, its not football manager. Playing this sort of set of fixtures in Europe would KILL us and we would stand no chance. Thankfully Liverpool had lump it to Suarez and see what happens as a tactic which was as about as useful as a chocolate teapot, he's a very good footballer but we had an answer for him and that ruined it. Good header from Skirtil for the goal but realistically 0-0 flattered both teams. 1-0 loss gives us a lot of positives going into the Reading game which is must win and shows up how thin on the ground Liverpool are. At least it wasn't a loss to a broken Newcastle or Norwich.
-
Yay! NC is a genius! Hard to deal with = "go away you nasty money grabbing thief of an agent" Impressive we got Gaston in playing that game too...
-
He has, first goal at West Ham he has all the time in the world to catch it, second goal should have claimed the ball into the box, second goal against Spurs he rushes out in the most non committal fashion possible leaving anyone to slam it home into an open goal. 3 of his 6 goals conceded he really should have done something about which was just embarrassing and most people seem to have forgotten.
-
But Kelvins errors are so predictable. Everyone and their dogs know that you can beat him at the near post, everyone knows he just cannot catch the ball first time ever and everyone can see he doesn't move for the ball often. Just makes him a joke in goal in the prem because any striker worth their place should beat him repeatedly. Only defence for Gazza over the other two is his mistakes haven't been consistent, so as long as his mistakes are random he'll keep the place because he is still learning...
-
Only if he gets an haircut the hippy!
-
Got a laugh from me!
-
It was funny, over sung though. Not really much point when he's not on the ball or really involved in the game... Was amused by his sort of waddle run though, such a fat lump, no wonder he's got no chance at an England call up
-
Well yeah so he's clearly not an option at the moment, playing someone that isn't ready or fit is more of a disaster than someone who is still learning and has to learn extra quickly.
-
Well why has he turned up massively out of shape, featured twice and then not heard a peep out of since. If he suddenly starts and is looking in at least better shape physically then yeah I am wrong, but considering how quiet the club has been on the Boruc front (not making any more u21's appearances) it is a fairly reasonable assumption that he is not training too well with the squad or not putting the effort in to be no.1
-
Well what else do we have? Davis who has conceded 16 in 4 games. No league in the world would find that acceptable. Boruc who clearly hasn't bothered training well after 2 lack luster appearances. Cooper suddenly worth a punt? We are pretty much stuck either confusing the back four and throwing anyone out and conceding lots of bad goals that are the difference between 0 and 1 point or play someone that generally concedes one and we just have to score 2/3 to win....
