Chants/songs to the tune of 'I Wanna Go Home'
Saint-Armstrong replied to Crazy Diamond's topic in The Saints
If we are up by the final day, and possibly as Champions, I still want to use that tune for one more chant... "This is the best trip, I've ever been on!" -
We can't finish 17th. Barring points deductions and failing to get any points from the last 8...

I was somewhere in a hug-fest. When the third went in, the man trying to keep calm as it was his young boy's first game went beserk, turned round, raised his arms to us, my Dad and I joined him before people left and right piled in before the guys behind piled in too shouting "We've done it!!!!"

The plural of mouse is mice, the plural of goose is geese. The plural of Rickie Lambert doesn't exist. The planet couldn't handle so much power. Rickie Lambert is the reason Wally is hiding.

Robin Ruiter? Not heard anything since... odd.

South Coast Journo Peter White, a Villa fan tweeted this this evening: "For all you Saints fans. Got one you will love to read in this week's Sunday Mirror. Watch this space tomorrow #saintsfc" Then asked what if same as the Lambert story in tomorrow's papers, to which he said: "Totally different in the Sunday Mirror. One to cheer all Saints fans #saintsfc" He says he may tell us a bit more tomorrow though. Anyway, tomorrow Lambert is interviewed on Football Focus from 11:30am BBC1. Rickie's also in the Daily Star saying: "I've given burgers and booze the boot!" I know some may see this as irritating or what not, but just a heads up for some who may have missed it. He is teasing us but I'm hoping it will live up to it's billing.

Saw a mention of this on the match thread, but thought it could do with one of it's own. He won't play this weekend, nor will Connolly, who is also unavailable due to injury. Such a shame, he was really settling in well and getting into the swing of things. However, this is where you appreciate the strength and depth we have accumulated: Lambert, Sharp, Do Prado and Barnard (who was a first choice striker last year) all fit.

Redknapp says Nigel too young for England
Saint-Armstrong replied to Surman4no7shirt's topic in The Saints
I am of the opinion that to be successful Adkins needs his team on the training ground a lot of the time. He relishes that. -

Pompey Ticket Details - game NOT televised
Saint-Armstrong replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
Doncaster at home - Saturday the 24th of March 2012. Or you can wait and risk there being some left after the Doncaster game potentially. -
Sibley on Twitter: "At Staplewood for the U21s fixture against Crystal Palace. Radhi Jaidi, Lee Barnard and Dan Seaborne all set to feature. #saintsfc"

Exactly. Thank you. Can we have less *****ing about some Japanese fans of Mr. Lee and talk about his footballing ability? After all, if say, Messi, Beckham or Thierry Henry were visiting where I live to play (Southend) I would go to see them. I'm not a huge Southend fan but I'd go. Who cares if they're not long-term or long time Saints fans? They paid for tickets and also paid for those shirts. It's all money in the same pot.

Following his earlier tweet that read: "Pompey win Family Club of the Year. I chuckled too. If the irony isn't enough, they have 'bought' two tables at tonight's awards. #saintsfc" They re-tweeted his tweet, sending it onto the timeline of all of their followers. They then tweeted: "Amazingly that last message I retweeted was from a club official - not top of the class table #pompey" Touched a nerve there! I'd love to see Cortese's reaction if they complained to him... For the record my reply was: "Why don't you show some class and pay those children's charities and St. John's Ambulance? Don't go preaching to others." Why do they think they are owed sympathy?

Is it just me who was really impressed today? Today was the first time I've watched him for myself rather than on TV, and I kept an eye on him all game. He is an exciting player, and his movement is absolutely top notch. He hardly ever stands still, he's always moving and making runs to make space for others all to make space for himself. I think he is struggling and getting caught offside as sometimes we are not on his wavelength, or a bit slow to get onto it? Sometimes he wants the ball and we play the pass a little late and he's offside. His run and assist for Lallana's 2nd was absolutely brilliant, he's a real team player with great work-ethic. Long may he continue to grow at Saints and push on to become a vital part of Southampton Football Club going forward.

Guly was not good today. I was in Block 43 for the first time. There was some fat pr!ck slagging him off all game, blaming him all the time. Everyone around us was rolling their eyes and telling him to shut up, so eventually everyone was copying him by squealing like a girl and blaming Guly for things such as Jos slicing the ball just to get at him. He stood there looking miserable as people began to sing "If you all like Guly, clap your hands!" and other such songs. We do have some mongs as fans, this man being a prime example. He wears red and white, he's one of us. Frustrating yes, but he is one of ours.

I think they're used for the team when they do Analysis and the "All Angles Covered" videos on SaintsPlayer.

Booed by the fans at half-time, when he made subs and at full-time. After the game he says: "If we had Rickie Lambert we would of won the league weeks ago." A little dig at Saints? Poor old Sam, spent all that money, has 10 strikers and none are as good as Rickie...but that's not easy to be.
